Emblem system punishes you for getting DS'ed
"-3% survivors escaped grasp"
and it was only one survivor who escaped my grasp: the DS user.
Just wanted to share this and show how broken the emblem system is.

I never payed attention to the emblem system cuz I don't care at all about pips. But this match I took a look into the stats and saw

Just wanted to share this and show how broken the emblem system is.So when you don't have anyone that uses DS but still escapes your grasp does that mean the emblem system is still broken? I mean flashlight saves, pallet stun saves, body blocking saves, hook sabo saves, you downed them where no hooks are. Because you used the ones up there already wiggle escapes and or simply didn't go to the nearest hook.

I think the issue is that you as the killer have almost no influence on DS besides not picking him up. So as soon as someone has DS, you WILL get -3%. Not really enough to jingle my keys but it's an issue.

What has this to do with DS? I'm talking specifically about DS penalty, not about escaping grasp in generalpowerbats said:@DwightsLifeMatters said:

I noticed as well. Quite frankly though, its the same situation with the emblem penalty for proximity or survivor heals, its statistically insignificant.0

Just juggle them to a hook or if their pals are around to flashlight save or body block go for them instead. That'll promote altruism that will most likely get them killed.

Just juggle them to a hookIf the hook is too far from you, you won't be able to juggle them all the way to the hook, which happens quite frequently.. so in that situation you still don't have control over DS penalty

I can honestly say in all my time of playing the game I have never encountered a situation where I can't get them to a hook. The penalty is minor anyway, nothing to worry about.
