What's the Most Useless Perk?
I'd say probably Monstrous Shrine or Predator for Killer and Sole Survivor for Survivor.
what are your thoughts?

Up the Ante.
Luck overall is such an outdated mechanic and only works on unhooking yourself. Not for finding rare items or, I heard, that it doesn't work on traps. (idk if that's true or not) Overall, it's straight up garbage unless you're doing a kobe build. 3% extra luck for each survivor alive, 9%, you're better off bringing deliverance.

Undying.
Alone, undying is useless trash.

what?
Undying is great at countering boons now.
seriously, try it the next time you see Mikealas. you'll get a ton of free hits. I'm not joking.
like, if you don't get at least one hit/prevent one boon from being set, I'll run No Mither for 3 games in a row. (I'll tell you how that goes.)

sole survivor

beast of prey

For killer probably unnerving presence.
It's ok early on but against better survivors you are actively helping them with the added chance of skillchecks
Monstrous shrine might not do anything but atleast it doesn't work against you

good one.
I saw an old yerv video saying that it should be activated using E, like dead hard. I like that idea.
maybe you could get a token for every 5s in chase, and use E to spend a token to become undetectable for 5s?

Furtive Chase. What is the point of a smaller terror radius "during" a chase? They already know your after them.
If it was the opposite it would be pretty fun to use.

Dead hard for survivors, BBQ and Chilli for killer, I swear no one ever runs those perks…
seriously though probably Monstrous Shrine or Beast of Prey for killer, maybe Slippery Meat as a survivor, the percentage to escape is still so small and it’s completely outclassed by Deliverance. All of those perks are definitely outdated and a victim of their time and could do with updating to fit more in line with the current gameplay

good point.
whenever I see unnerving, I'm thrown by it, though, since nobody uses it.

Buckle Up!
I always leave this perk in my bloodweb.

Agree, I used it on pig by herself one time on rpd, and i was able to find survivors booning dull totems thanks to that.

I think it's for improving your hit and run tactics.
which means it only works on solo-Q players, or whenever you break LoS for a few seconds during chase.
and you can lose your tokens.

I guess so.

I dont even know what it does.

oh, good, I don't have to use no mither.

It's useless.
I forgot about it.

All it does is give you 3% luck for each survivor that is alive, totaling up to 9%, that's it. Complete dogwater on it's own. Slightly okayish when paired with slippery meat.

Straight up! Luck is totally worthless. I don’t play survivor but whenever I see luck related offerings I’m thinking to myself “why would you use those?” They give literally +1-3% chance to pull yourself off a hook, who could possibly think that’s at all useful?
And on the killer side, for similar reasons, Monstrous Shrine is probably the worst killer perk. It’s main “benefit” is making it harder to pull yourself off a basement hook. Again, who in their right mind would think that’s a perk worthy benefit for a killer? That perk desperately needs a buff or revamp.
My suggestion has been to make Monstrous Shrine do something like basement hooks do the following:
- The entity timer runs faster (same as the current version)
- Rescuing a person from a basement hook takes 2/3/4 seconds longer than normal
- All basement hooks count as Scourge hooks for related effects.
That would make the perk useful in its own right to make the basement rescues even a bit riskier than normal, and also give it synergy with the new Scourge perks that could make for some fun builds.

This is my personal list, there are many useless and situational perks in the game, I just highlighted the obvious ones for me.
Killer perks: Hex: Crowd Control; Unnerving Presence; Dead Man's Switch; Dragon's Grip; Claustrophobia; Unrelenting; Predator; Coup de grace.
Survivor perks: This Is Not Happening; Left Behind; Red Herring; Solidarity; Slippery Meat; No One Left Behind; Lightweight; No Mither; Sole Survivor.

Hangman's Trick, Furtive Chase, Sole Survivor, This Is Not Happening.

No one left behind is actually good based on what the description says, but the problem is that it requires exit gates to be opened.

For Killer:
Furitive Chase, Beast of Prey, Monsterous Shrine, Predator.
All of these perks either actively have so little effect you might as well not run them, or they just straight up actively hurt you. (Predator specifically.)
For Survivor:
No One Left Behind, Lightweight, Sole Survivor, Up the Ante.
I think all of these perks also either actively hurt you and generally encourage poor decisions as Survivor, or just do nothing. (For example, opening exits early for No One Left Behind, letting teammates die for Sole Survivor, struggling on hook without Slippery Meat for Up the Ante...)

This Is Not Happening and Sole Survivor

Territorial Imperative and Open Handed.

Pretty much.
I did use it one time though for a meme build on wraith with MYC and dead man’s switch (hook obsession, use dead man’s, rescuer becomes obsession and is exposed, hook obsession, use dead man’s, etc.). It was actually pretty fun.

Ture but if furtive chase were the opposite and you could stack it with M&A, we'd have a stealth killer on anyone >:)
