Lightburn is an outdated mechanic
Playing Wraith post-nerf already feels bad enough without having to deal with being stunned every time you try and exit your power by a 4 man clicky squad
does he really need to be countered by flashlights? It’s not as if he’s an S tier killer or anything.
at least change the Lightborn perk so you’re immune to lightburn

Amen, brother, any buff to the sacred Lightborn shall be rejoiced across the land.

You are not immune to lightburn when using lightborn?
Interesting

Wish granted; for some unknown reason Hag traps are now coded as Hag and can no longer be burned with Lightborn

I like the lightburn mechanic. It has counterplay and is fun to go against. I would just make it so that Lightborn makes lightburn impossible to do, and honestly just buff Wraith's already weak kit.

Yeah, I never really understood why they have this thing with using a flashlight to knock Wraith out of stealth. If they took that out would it actually make him overpowered? Seems unlikely.

I think lightburn is fine. Wraith has other problems that should be looked at first.
I would be okay with lightborn granting immunity to it though.

Let's make Lightburn applicable to all Killers, but instead of stunning them, it applies a hinder effect based on how long you've shown the light on the Killer (with an immunity period once the hinder ends). (And also get rid of the Survivor drop from flashlight blinds, instead apply an even more significant hinder if you get blinded, needing more investment into things like sabo/Breakout/etc.)

It's so easy to avoid it, though. I find its existence useful because it gets survivors to waste huge chunks of their flashlight battery and barely move in the process, when all you have to do is stop uncloaking and move rapidly from side to side. Wraith is very fast and they won't be able to keep their beam on you. I wouldn't mind if Lightborn included Lightburn, but I don't care much either way.
Flashlights against Hag, on the other hand; that can ruin a game all on its own.

They removed disarming traps with toolboxes because they didn't want items having an additional bonus against certain killers, but that's exactly what lightburn and destroying Hag's traps with a flashlight are.

Nope perk only allow you to avoid getting flashlighted not flashburnt .

Nah it's fine, I enjoy the rare occasions where I spin survivor around when they're trying to burn me.
Just make wraith so good that mechanic like that makes sence for him. He's getting there slowly over the years but he still could use a little bit more.

Agreed. It should have also been tossed out when they got rid of the ability to sabotage Trapper's Bear Traps.

Light burn was a bigger problem back when wraith was alot easier to see cloaked now you cant really see his ripple and thus its not as big a problem if you move slow with a cox

Tbh I find it fun. It adds a little more interaction between killer and survivor. Plus if you don't ######### up you can waste their flashlight in no time while they attempt to burn you.

"I like the lightburn mechanic. It has counterplay and is fun to go against"
All I wanted to read.
You are a man of culture.

That surprises me, ngl.
But for real, I genuinely like the mechanic. A way to remove the mechanic, such as an add-on or with Lightborn, would be nice though.

Lightburn should be more effective on Nurse

Ya know i always wondered why they didnt let light burn work on spirit too while phase walking

I just realized I wrote "rid" instead of "read".

Ooh, whoopsies there.

The typos are real.
Anyway, I like Lightburn. I think it is a nice and fun mechanic, though the add-on which grants you immunity to it should return.

What are you talking about most trolls just trip all her traps to gove the player a headache

I mean he was almost there.
But nah he was a “wee bit op.” Lol.

Get rid of it on wraith and hag, keep it on nurse and spirit (she gets kicked outta phase if you can blind her, even with lightborn)

Light burn is fine. In fact I’d like to see it be more prevalent against nurse
