Hag teleport
I've been playing some Hag games lately and there's this one thing that annoys me:
when I'm chasing someone down and he/she runs over my trap, I teleport and don't try to hit because I know he/she is already out of reach. In that time that I don't swing I get this MASSIVE slow that creates even more distance between me and my prey. Why is that even there?! She is already so slow, why even make her slower? Please just get rid of this.
TL,DR: remove slow after teleporting with Hag

While it has the effect of slowing you down, what's actually happening is that the Hag goes to 0 movement after a teleport and has to accelerate back up to her 110% movement speed which doesn't take that long but is long enough to cause problems. Part of me understands this, but considering how survivors aren't given nearly as many acceleration punishments as killers, adding this one is overly unfair to a 110% move speed killer.

Why would you teleport in the first place when you've already committed to the chase?Smiler said:I've been playing some Hag games lately and there's this one thing that annoys me:

Hag's main things
Firstly: the hags teleport is to close long distances, if you are already close enough and trailing a surv there should be no point to it unless they vault a pallet and you have a trap on the other side.
Using as a mechanic to close short chases is highly inefficient. I was a hag main before buying freddy and still use her every once in a while0 -

A hags teleport is fine. You shouldn’t be given the ability to take off like a wraith popping out of invisibility. If you see a survivor zooming towards a trap you set, start mashing the teleport key. More often then not you’ll appear right next to them and be able to smack them down. Provided you teleport just as soon as the trap is triggered.
Also realize that it also depends where they pop the trap. It also depends if you have the add on that increases the range to where the trap pops. There are a lot of little variables that factor into it.
Use the the camera flick to your advantage. Set traps to where it will cause them to veer off course into a wall. This way if you totally screw up your teleport, you have that small amount of time to make up the distance.
It just seems your timing needs a little work. Nobody is perfect at it, but it all comes down to teleport timing and correct trap placement.0
