Do you know it is the most broken map in the game ? Favoring survivors to a point there are the 4 strongest loops of DbD on a single map ?

Seriously...

If i play killer i know it is a loss guaranteed. As a survivor i know it is a win guaranteed...

Well they Shadownerfed it recently, which is always good.

Hopefully this is just a bandaid, or something that slipped in from development of a full map rework.

It's funny... when I get that map as Survivor, my teammates usually lose their minds and have no clue what they're doing, resulting in an easy win for the Killer. But when I get that map as Killer, I'm usually playing Slinger or Trickster and the Survivors are all running Balanced Landing with four Shadowstep totems and Prove Thyself. Or that's what it seems like, anyway. They could be perkless and it would be the same end result... three hooks maximum with 10k points. Definitely my most hated map in the video game.

Fun fact: Haddonfield is 10,752 square meters, which is 800 square meters larger than Temple of Purgation. It's WAY too big, as with most maps in this game...

Well yes, if the survivors are experienced, they will either go inside the white houses or inside the basement houses to loop.

If they have luck, they will also have a pallet loop combined with a window fenced.

Using those 5 loops is enough to hold most killers for 10 gens and it is not exaggerated.

Edit : and to those 11000 sqaure meters, you can add all the building's floors square meters which is roughly 15000 m2 i guess then.

If they rework it, I would like to see breakable walls upstairs and in the house of pain

You guys should stop being hopeful that these map reworks are going to do something in regards to balance. Just look at Badham, Cowshed, The Game and Storehouse.

But then we can also look at Ormond and how it got marginally better

It still has one of the worst gen spreads in the game, and they got rid of a lot of LOS blockers so you can see the killer basically all the time on it. It was barely an improvement.

Also that's one map out of, idk, 20 that either stayed the same or got worse after the rework.

Anyone else of the opinion that the myers house, while god-awful, isn't the worst thing about haddonfield? At least there's a bit of risk involved with running it because the basement always spawns there so if you mess up you're put in a really tight spot. (Unless RNGesus puts the god window at the side of the stairs)

For me It's those blasted fences, the house of pain and the generators all being angry neighbours who hate each other so much that they refuse to be anywhere near each other

House of Pain is definitely the biggest issue of the map. Badham has a (slightly) better variation of it due to the stairs being opaque but even that is hell to play on. Haddonfield's HOP is so much worse to deal with.

The badham variation also has breakable walls

I really hope if they rework haddonfield they aren't lazy and just add breakable walls everywhere, I'll be so upset.
