Killers: Why or why not do you run quality of life perks?
Perks like brutal strength, shadowborn, unrelenting. I feel like there are plenty of QoL perks that I’m not seeing any killers use. Are people that committed to the 4K they feel the need to run the same build over and over? Do you feel the current survivor meta doesn’t allow for non gen regression perks?

because if we play "bad" we get teabagged and bmed. if we play "sweaty" we get tbagged and bm if we break any of the 645640616516547 rules of the survivor rulebook for killers we get yelled at, tbagged and bmed. look man i played league since 2013 and this is by far the most toxic community. so if we are playing it might as well go for at least 2 kills.

I actually think that Corrupt + Deadlocked + 1 or 2 endgame perks is better and more engaging than gen regression on certain killers.
I'd seen a few streamers run similar builds, decided to try it out, and it was surprisingly effective.
It basically trades potential regression for guaranteed time.

I never use shadowborn - it just throws me off since I’m used to not using it.
Unrelenting only helps you if you miss a swing. I’m not saying I never miss - we’ve all swung at DHs, but if you play correctly and don’t miss, it doesn’t do anything.
Brutal strength can be nice sometimes, it’s not something I use often but I will every once in a while. I just think that usually there are better perks that I could be using in that slot (and I’m not solely referring to gen regression) but it’s not worthless or anything.

Most QoL perks just aren't good enough to see play on either side.
I mean Fixated and Buckle Up are good QoL perks for survivors but no one runs them because they too weak.
Same goes for killer QoL perks.

Can't take shadowborn off my Nurse. I'm hooked man. Send help.
Edit: sometimes I like to run Agitation on Nurse as well because it helps with the gameplay flow and speeds up the hooks process. No I don't run starstruck either.

It was rare for me to play without Brutal Strength or Fire Up.
It just felt so slow without it.

I love Fire-Up + Brutal on Pallet Freddy @_@

I play fun, impactful perks.
I'll run qol perks, sure, but normally, I like using unexpected non-meta perks, like hoarder and trail of torment.

I did that sometimes.
It was useful...but not really fun.

Brutal I'll run sometimes on an unga-bunga chasedown build.
Shadowborn is nice to have, but it feels like a bit of a wasted slot. Monitor at least has some other benefits.
Unrelenting...I totally forgot that existed. That's how worthless it is. I almost never whiff attacks and I'm barely an intermediate killer.
