Scapegoating is a huge problem within our community (a rant)

Many people here cannot accept that they're just not as good as they think they are. It shocks me how nobody ever loses to their own mistakes, but because the other side is just "op". Overpowered has no significance in the context of dbd anymore because everybody and their grandma will scream it whenever something doesn't go their way. And I'm talking to all of you. Not survivor mains. Not killer mains. EVERYONE.

Nobody holds themselves accountable for their actions. They point the finger and claim "Well I'm only doing this because this person does that". It means nothing. Being reactionary doesn't make you a victim of some plight. It makes you immature for not holding yourself accountable for your actions. I know it's a video game. But many people on here will talk down to you and try to straw man you for not holding their same cookie cutter opinions. "Oh you don't like this? Classic killer/survivor main."

And going back to the topic of balance. A majority don't want balance. They want easy wins. Killers want free 4ks and survivors want to escape every match. If you have to bring 4 slowdowns to keep up with survivors, you're not good. If you have to bring BNPs or map offerings to win as survivor, you're not good. And that's such a hard pill to swallow for so many people. So many can't stand the thought that they aren't god tier gamers.

I can't tell if it's an ego problem or what. But getting butthurt over dbd is liking crying over something a pre-schooler told you. Dbd is a mess. You can lose the game from bad luck alone. Depending on tile spawns or some bug that hasn't been patched out yet, those can cost you the whole match. If you're annoyed at the game then don't go out of your way to make the next match as hard as you can for the other side and grief. Take a break and come back when you've calmed down. Also learn to accept losses, because there is no winning in dbd.

I know I'm not that good. I also want balance. Problem is people like us are rare.

Huh? If I face camp someone because they annoyed me, I was doing it because they annoyed me. Someone bodyblocked me with BT when all I wanted was BBQ stacks. I tunneled them out of the game and face camped them. That was their fault. Now, I am not saying I didn't tunnel and face camp them as you seem to imply. I did? I take full responsibility for dominating them. But I literally was not going to play that way until they denied me my hook. This is basic cause and effect. I am not sure which part you are having difficulty comprehending. Cause is what they did, effect, which comes after cause, is what I did... Is that clear enough?

There's a word for this kind of person in the fighting game community: Scrub.

    https://glossary.infil.net/?t=Scrub

We need to use that more and call out scrubby behavior.

I got too many Disconnects and easy wins as Survivor with Crossplay On and it became boring, and I can destroy with Leatherface on Console Crossplay Off.

That became boring because all there is boring Bloodpoints to grind for and boring challenges that don't need to be finished that with random disconnecting teammates is all a waste of my time. The game is too easy overall and overfilled with too many needless buffs for survivors and nerfs for killers. The graphics and low frame rate on the console suck too. This game needs Mouse and Keyboard support on Console to make more killers viable IMHO, but BHVR can't code. SO RIP. I went out on top it's just boring.
