Why is there no vote to abandon/friendly quit option when someone d/cs?
Why do I have to sit through a 3v1 at 5 gens or eat a d/c penalty? Nobody wants to do that on either side. Matches already void themselves if someone disconnects at the loading screen. You already know nobody wants to play a 3v1 because you made that change a long time ago. This is a massive QoL feature that the game is sorely lacking. Let players take a one-time vote on whether they want to continue the match or not.

Because this is the only way Killers can get a win LOL!

If there was a feature such as that. The moment 1 person dc's the rest WILL dc. If the dc penalty getting temporarily disabled has proven anything it's that people are more likely to quit if they can get away with it.

bcs it's abusable. easy as that

It aint much, but it's honest work.
6 -
abusable how. the unfair game just ends and everyone gets to play a new one?
wow, what a terrible thing to have happen
6 -
Like any other "voting" thing in this game, it would be easily abused by survivors.
The survivors are having a bad game? Screw it, use the "Get out of the game free" button to leave the game. Sucks to be the killer if they used a good offering or add-ons, the survivors are having a bad time so see ya.
The killer is getting bullied by a SWF Flashlight Squad way above their skill level? You think we're gonna let our chew toy be allowed to just leave the match before we completely break their will to live?!?!?! Perish the thought!!!!
There's four survivors and one killer; the killer is almost always getting the short end of the stick when you start adding voting to the game...

Imagine when a game is so bad and disconnections are so common that people are requesting a feature to leave the game

Play with 3 friends.
Whenever a match does not go your way one of them DC's
The rest take this free out
1 person waits the small dc penalty
Rotate
Now you can DC 4 times as much before the penalty starts stacking to high

I got a Hillbilly mission to get the last kill myself (needed an offering for it) for 60.000 Bloodpoints. Already killed 3 and was chasing the last one, he disconnected. :/
Sometimes people get connection problems and get unfairly penalty. But in most cases, those who disconnect do so willingly. Not only in Dead By Daylight but also in other games, so I like the system as it is right now. With penalty for disconnect and no vote to quit option.

I'd rather have a stronger DC penalty, especially for repeat DCers.
Of my first seven matches of the day, 5 had DCs. That's ridiculous. And not 'the killer is camping me' or 'I'm having internet issues' DCs, it's always either when I first down or first hook them.
What I'll usually do is let everyone else get a few gens done, 2 hook them and then let them escape. Maybe I'll kill 1 more at 1 gen.

It's way better than waiting in a 2 V 1 with 4/5 gens left. It's Just a matter of giving BP's to the killer mains so they won't cry about it.

My favorite DCer. A Dwight was flashlight clicking to get my trapper's attention. He lead me to a pallet. He failed a mind game and got downed. I hooked him and left. He gets saved. Dwight them comes after me! He flashlight clicks again. He fails a mind game again. I pick him up and DS. He vaults a nearby window and steps in a trap. I pick him up. He DCs. No friggen way that was an accidental dc.

Rather run to me and I'll kill you off ASAP.
All you are doing is punishing me for winning, and denying me BP and probably whatever challenge or Adept I'm working on.
The hardest thing about doing an Adept shouldn't be finding a group who won't DC on you.

then make the killer approve
because if i'm the killer i'll just approve it and we can move on

Generally a match where someone dcs early is a slog anyway, if players could decide to end a match especially early on with a dc it would be a nice quality of life change

That's what the hatch is for. But they got rid of the hatch.
0 -
Hatch is still there, he is just hiding. He only comes out when the coast is clear because he has social anxiety.
0 -
Yes ... now the last 2 survivors will hide even more since hatch is invisible and cannot be used.
It's such a shame. They went from slowly nerfing it to over nerfing it.
Ur just forced to do gens until ur the last person. Even if it's 3v1.
0 -
You might, most won't.
Chases is a 3v1 aren't much different then a 4v1 except they are more chill.
I loaded in to play the game and i'm not going to stop everytime someone dc's or every game is going to end prematurelly.
I just make sure everybody is on death hook before i start removing people from the game to make it somewhat fairer.
All this does is give more reason to be angry at the killer rather then the person who dc'd cause they didn't accept the surrender.

The initial person DCing would be penalized. They could just make it so that everyone else in the SWF group gets a DC penalty as well regardless of if they decide to vote abandon or not.
Also just because there's a possibility SWFs would "abuse" it doesn't mean that solo queue shouldn't have access to a feature like this.
A match is ruined the moment someone DCs and there really isn't much point in playing it after that especially if it's solo queue.
