Can't find games as Survivor
Devs, do something about it. Your game is not fun for survivor, where all the killers? Why I waste 15 minutes to search game in SoloQ survivor.

I get instant games as survivor.
"the game isnt fun for survivors, where are all the killers?" how can the game be fun or not if you supposedly cant even find a match?
And if it's that unfun for survivor and you cant find a match, why dont you play killer? Odd

Me too. I used to play killer a lot, but nowadays only for tomes and rituals and thats frustrating enough as it is already.

SBMM has made playing as killer a complete sweat fest. Since it all it does measure kills and escapes, you're guaranteed to be playing against people you have no business playing against. It's not fun, and the number one reason why there are far fewer Killers these days than ever before.

In your opening thread you said where are all the killers? Then further down in the thread you said killer is too frustrating. That's why your sitting in a lobby. The devs keep making the game fun for survivor. As a result all the killers are being driven away. The devs cant force more people to play killer. If you want your que times to improve then start making threads saying "Killer is too hard. Plz buff!"

Bc playing killer sucks. Your weak. You get bullied nonstop. The devs have made it to where survivors can all bring in second chance perks so even when they lose a chase.... they still win....
Now add in boons. Free heals and track hiding for all... yay!! So fun to go against.
Oh, and the massive amounts of swf squads streaming themselves being bullies for entertainment 🙄
There's a crap ton of that happening more and more these days.

If your problem is long survivor queue times, then I think you're asking the wrong question.
You want to ask how to make the game fun for Killers, as then more Killers play, and you have quicker queue times.

It doesn't help that they keep nerfing killer powers to be less fun, weaker, or both. If you only enjoy playing a couple of guys and they get gutted, where's the desire to keep playing? I don't like nurse and am not interested in getting good at her. I enjoyed playing Freddy, Pyramid Head, and Deathslinger. They've all been stomped down. I don't play Spirit but I'm sure not going to give her a chance now. I briefly gave Wraith a try, post-buff, but oh look, he got a nerf immediately afterwards.
It's exhausting and the more it happens, the fewer people are going to be in queue for survivors to match up against.

Killer as a role is currently unplayable if you don't play a handful of killers with certain perks, that's how awful the current state of the game is. Nonstop genrush, constant Dead Hard & Boon Totem abuse, bad map designs, awful matchmaking & severe bullying as well as lack of reflection from the devs are to blame for this.

why do you explain me that? I think I clarified myself. I need devs do something with it. Make it more fun for killers, force people to play killer role, put extra reward on playing killer. Anything. I just want to have games get found, I don't care why they are not

I feel a little better after reading these comments. Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.
Sucks. I like the killer role, and love the killers. I always start my first killer match optimistically thinking maybe it'll be fun today.
Nope.
And this cycle goes on and on. One day, I'll learn to stop playing the game since I'm not having fun.
One day. For now tho, I'll continue to eat teabags all day and hope the devs address the power dynamics

We all got it that DEVS don't care about killers funplay. All they care is fun for survivor. And as a survivor I ask them to make this game fun by being able to find a match at least. Is it such a big deal? BHVR, make this game fun for me or it's just a waste of money and no reason for me to buy OTHER SURVIVIORS

There are plenty of killer bots on asia servers. I got to silver 1 by meeting them for most of my games

If this game ever goes to that length -- other than having bots for a "practice" mode -- then you can officially put a nail in the coffin of the game and call it dead. There's zero reason to think the devs could actually come up with an AI-controlled opponent that could compete against even decent players. The hordes of people playing survivor would quickly get tired of escaping every trial without trying, and that would spell the death knell of this game.
The game needs to be fun -- and feel winnable -- for people playing both roles. If the devs ever lose sight of that, then that's a recipe for disaster for the game's future.

I have to totally agree I have no faith in them making a decent AI(Trapper) and would probably kill it. Were getting to the point again where killers are leving or switching roles and the devs have to make QoL changes but when they did that last time(DD,BnP,ect...) survivors freaked out and started calling the game killer sided so I'm not sure they even want to do that again.

BT - Once per survivor in trial. Cooldown between unhooks
DS - Harder skill check
Boons - Delete them or change mechanic and effects. You should think twice before setting one rather then listening to thundestorm through whole match.
IW - Less moaning, more grunting, still detectable or as a skill for X seconds

with BT? As mentioned before. Unhooked knows he is invincible, so it comes to body blocking / protective hits.
Tunneling is only viable strat if the killer wants to prolong / gain advantage. Once you start to do fairplay its always gen rush.
If you know tunnel the boon spammer, jackpot

Everybody, tea baggers and clicky clicky are even faced camped. And love the after game chat where all the toxicity how you suck and how he was on 1 year dbd break.
If you are covering your eyes that perk voip, boons and the game duration is normal, then enjoy the queues. Other then than that we have nothing to discuss

It's practically impossible not to miss if you're playing on console with low fps, frame drops, and input lag. Every once in a while I try equipping DS, but the result is always the same: it's a wasted perk slot because I miss more than 80% of the skill checks (the number is not an estimate, I kept track).

The lag did cause me to miss it once against a Blight even though I did hit the skill check.

That happens to me all the time with normal skill checks, it drives me nuts. I hit it! I hit the skill check! Why did it say I failed?? 😭
This game, man. It wants to force me to waste half my perk slots with Technician and BtB, but I refuse to let it.
