Mettle Of Dead Hard
Dead Hard changes is not something I am going to talk about much. I am just going to state that this perk is now the old Mettle of Man for the amount of times I have hit someone, hear them scream, and they just keep running. Ridiculously frustrating, especially when it is a Claudette with a toolbox.

That isn’t an intended design of Dead Hard, it’s hit validation. You actually didn’t get the hit to begin with and the server is doing its job by rejecting it. Old Mettle of Man was just poorly designed. We can talk about the design of Dead Hard too but the hit validation shouldn’t be the reason the perk needs a change.

I don't think the perk needs to be changed. If I did, I would've discussed that. I understand the issue with the hit validation, was just stating this perk is practically old Mettle of Man.

Thats not similar to MoM, as TheGannMan mentioned, thats just hit validation, they were supposed to be able to take the hit, the scream was because the hit was taken away after being confirmed on your end, I think, at least.

then shouldn't the server calculate the distance the killer has lost and accelerate it?

I will agree it's not the intended design however I will say with the way its functions right now it works really similarly to old mettle of man

The point of Dead Hard is to extend chases though.

the problem is that the server doesn't compensate for being stunned on the killer screen

But the killer doesnt lose any extra distance, its treated as if they just missed

What stun? The hit cooldown? I never had a time where I went through a HIT attack cooldown, always a miss.

killer stops a bit if survivors screamed, because it was hit from your screen
distance will greater than a miss
its not even tactical thing, you can see it

Thats better, you get away from the cooldown faster
