Contrast Between Forums and Game
I've noticed that the people on these forums are filled with positivity towards new players and towards everyone in general. I just find it funny that after my match, where I am a rank 3 Silver Killer, the rank 1 survivor who brought a game offering, running adrenaline, deadhard, borrowed time and decisive, tells me I abused my pinky finger addon for Clown, and that I'm horrible.
Go on the forums, talk about a bad match, and I get positive responses. I find it really humorous that the game is so toxic and the community is positive.

The ranks aren't visible anymore.
The only reason you feel like people are more "welcoming" on here is that the ones who aren't get banned. In game bans don't happen as often, if even.

I'll believe it. Honestly.

We’re a very small minority of the community and our love for this game is why we are here on the forums. That’s why we want new players.

I mean, I'm pretty sure the ranks they're talking about are visible, they're just not the invisible MMR...

The ranks/emblems aren't indicative if you're good/bad to the game though, they just show if you play a lot or not.

It's not just on Discord, there are a lot of people who just play survivors,
so it's better to leave immediately after the match to avoid hearing dogsit from them
i been playing Survivor only for a while and I still don't watch chat

You probably aren't Iri 1 if you suck.
Likewise, you probably aren't playing enough to get to Iri 1 if you are bad.

You can get there easily in SWF or a killer that can easily pip like legion.

To a degree, yes.

I suppose it's also more indicative the less time has passed since reset.

It's the same community (or well, on here is a minority subset of the general community), but the rules are stricter here than in game so people either keep their clown act in the circus where it belongs or they get banned.

As others have pointed out, you're innately going to have more friendly people on the forums as anything even remotely offensive said will get you banned. So we aren't necessarily friendlier, just simply our speech is controlled. Heck even the downvote button was removed...lol.

You won't notice BT and DS if you play nice.
Playing against the iri addon Clown is just simply not fun.
Playing on a game map as killer is also not the most fun.
As summary you are both horrible.

So when the unhooked blocks you from hitting the unhooker, trying to use his BT or DS, you just run the other direction and hide in the corner until the survivors call you back to the game?
Have you ever even played killer?

It depends on the situation, some options:
- I hit the unhooked immediately and then continue chasing the unhooker.
- I hit the unhooked and continue chasing the unhooked, then I slug.
- I wait 12 seconds and then hit the unhooked and slug them.
So the outcome is that they need to waste time mending or they are laying on the ground not being able to do anything and waste time for another teammate to pick them up.
I play around 70% killer.

If you start playing killer, be prepared :
- some survivors will always blame you no matter what (for their loss)
- some survivors will have racist and homophobic comments in the end game chat (I have the pride flag I get that A LOT).
- you can let your steam profile opened for comments so nice survivors can post positivity and you don’t get discouraged by the negativity :)

Think about it this way, we weren't in your lobby to get salty. /s
Besides that, I respect the pinky finger. We need more pinky finger abusing Clowns. Bring back the dominance!
