Why are so many ppl so shocked about Oni beeing able to 180 or 360 flick? It was always possible...
so why is everyone making such a huge deal out of it NOW? After 2 years... xD
Lillith Omen, Otzdarva hell even in tournaments (I think it was hexys, not sure anymore) and also alot in twitter I see alot of posts or videos where ppl post or talk about it.
I am not denying that it is strong but I am just confused why out of the blue everyone realized it after sooo long? xD
What will it be in the next few months? Ppl beeing suprised that you can burn Hag traps with a flashlight?

It was outshadowed by Blight's J-flick-gate. Plus, Onis aren't super common, or as common as Blights.
You're correct that's been possible to do that for the longest time, just to be clear.

360 is possible?
I managed to do 180 max, but I had to boost my DPI a lot for it.
I don't think it's really an issue, it's hard af to use in actual game.

Probably because Otz made a video about it a while ago (while failing to give credit to the streamer he got the technique from - an Oni main named Lipy). But yes, it's been possible for a long time, although I suspect they'll probably patch it out at some point. If memory serves correctly it used to be really easy to 180 on the PTB, then it was nerfed to 45 and then buffed back to 90.

I just didn't know he could before someone actually did it to me. That's it xd

Agree its hard and no it has nothing to do with DPI, there is a hard cap of how much you can turn while you do the dash hit. How it exactly works is with your keyboard. You basicly can extend your flicks by adding to your camera movement also a semi 360 with your keyboard like you would do as survivors. I guess its hard to explain without footage xD to make it simple, how you move with your keyboard is also important.

In your case thats ofc totally fine but streamres that have thousands of hours should know that, and they actually knew it but for some reason they make a thing out of it now xD

Maybe that's why I wasn't able to get more than 180...
Well, It's just not reliable for me, so I am not gonna waste my time in learning that, it would just result in more missed hits :D My 90 +/- turn is enough in most loops

If you are fine with that then sure. I am someone who wants to learn everything that is possible to get the maximum performence out. But as long as you can land your normal 90 hits and can control your demon rush well and even fake your direction (you know when you pretend to run to the left of the loop and then you suddenly switch to the right side so the survivors runs into you basicly) then you should be fine.

I agree with Clarity of Will. It gained traction once Otz made a video about it. He is a big influencer in the community which is why we have two threads that have been on top most of today regarding a recent video he made.

Its nothing new and also nothing worth to be freaking about lol.
I can do good with just 90 flicks on him, and never really tried to learn 180 since I dont really see the point of it.
If you do get hit with 180, its very possible you might have been hit with normal hit as well.

I use the 180 to get a them through the dead hard personally.

Best i can do are very sloppy looking 90 turns, but that might have more to do with the controller and console than his power. I've never hit anything beyond 90 besides dirt. The dirt just chuckles...
