I finaly reach the perfect killer mmr
I say that because i finaly reach the mmr were i can 4k if i want as a walking nurse. This happen in 5 game in a row so im sure im in the perfect mmr.
Now the only thing im waiting is the crow lady so i can practise her against those survivor until i think im rdy to go against higher level of survivor.
Ps i say i can 4k if i eant to because when the survivor are on death hook i only slug them and let the other pick him up. So when i have 3 slug im going far from them and hope the last survivor pick them up because i dont want to raise that mmr.

If you deranked your Nurse but not every other killer, the Artist will take your average. So you will still be facing high mmr survivors as you learn her.

Good.
The thing is - how did you reach that MMR?
If you were playing chill: awesome.
If you just AFKed out 50 games...yeah, don't smurf mate.

When you afk for some reason survivor take more time to leave and sometime they kill themself. Walking as a nurse is better because the still try to finish the game and you do a lot of bp.

######### then i need to do that with all my killer this is going to be a long week

Please don't smurf.
Stomping will get boring really fast and you'll make dozens of players miserable when you pop up and crush them.

In that game smurfing is the best solution to learn a new killer without getting stomp.

Maybe BHVR should stick to their word then.
They made a whole bunch of promises about SBMM and then totally abandoned them.

You have more patience's that I would, I game of walking Nurse would do me in.

Such as?
Plus, there is a massive difference between 'my MMR is obviously way too high so I'm going to play chill for a while and let it drop to get people more at my level'.
This is 'I basically AFKed a ridiculous amount of games so that I can 'practice' against complete newbies'.
MMR manipulation and smurfs absolutely kill games. SC2 had a big problem with this and it completely bottlenecked the game, in that new players were constantly facing Diamond+ players who smurfed their Unranked rating down to get some easy wins after playing Ranked.

Oh, you know, individual Killer MMR. Yes, I know there technically is, but it's basically meaningless.
One of the major points that they made when they announced SBMM was that Killer players wouldn't need to get stomped while playing a brand new Killer. That was a lie.
I even tested and proved it myself. There is almost zero variation in Killer MMR.

Yeah this is one of the things about SBMM that annoys me. Pegging your 'new' killer's MMR just below your 'best' killer's MMR is ridiculous. I have no idea who thought that was a good idea, but they need a few months in the office dungeon.
I remember trying to learn Demo last month and got absolutely raked for 5 or 6 matches before it stabilized.

Nice this is great to hear and im glad you are having fun. What matters most is the fun you have, just be careful if your mmr starts to rise. A great way to keep yourself in a good spot is to have a few games without add ons, BBQ&C and let everyone escape while still getting close to max bp for more add ons.

So this is being the "power role", stomping noobs? Of course everything that counts is your fun and fullfilling your power fantasies while 4 other players have a miserable time.
Honestly dude, just play chill. I only put the effort into matches that i'm willing to put in, i only use perks and add ons that i want to use. If i lose it's fine, as long as matchmaking works i will play against survivors much more my level. I accepted that this game is unbalanced at highest level and that i don't have a chance with some killers even if i don't do mistakes. But stomping noobs is boring and there is no reason to punish innocent people. Before MMR i had a high win rate with a lot of stompings because the game would often match me to purple rank survivors while i was rank 1. This isn't fair and boring after a while. If you don't want your MMR to skyrocket, give hatch/ gate to the last one, i do that every time (when i could 4k) and someone will be happy.

No. It...makes sense. Somewhat.
The initial pegging of a specific killer's MMR is definitely too generous. It should likely be lower, so you don't have to 'grind out' a dozen games while it calibrates you.
However, killers do have their own MMR which can rise or fall independently. I certainly get harder opponents on my Demo, Hag and Doctor games than I do on my Pig or Ghostface games. Far more PC players, far more SWFs and definitely more people that know what they are doing.
I would like BHVR to address their original quote, but this feels like a matter of crossed wires or something that changed later in development.
This.
And this is what frustrates me about so many of the complaints about the SBMM system - which, to be blunt, amount to 'I miss stomping noobs'.
Smurfs were a blight in the old system. It was so easy that even some Fog Whisperers admitted to doing it for easier games and I'd love to know how many new players just quit in disgust after being trounced by people with thousands more hours of experience than them.
And yes - there are ways to 'manage' your MMR, if you really want to do that. Go easier. Let the occasional 2 or even 3 survivors go after a hard-fought game. Run some silly perk combos. Ease up.
Just...don't essentially AFK out two dozen games to grief newbies. That's just a meanspirited, petty thing to do.

I played a game as Nemesis, who I've put a huge amount of time into. I get a good 4 man, I sweat and manage to get a 4K.
I BUY Freddy, queue up immediately and get the same 4 man. I matched with them TWICE, even after I got crushed.

Yeah. That's the dumb MMR pegging thing I mentioned. That absolutely needs to be changed. You sort of have to grind out a dozen or so really nasty games to get to a better spot.
The system certainly needs refinement.
