I Am Straight-Up Not Having a Good Time
Alright everyone, laugh at my suffering.
I waited over 20 minutes (it was actually 45, but I don't have a video of that) for a game, only to get a 5 minute match.

I think 5 minutes would have been the signal to just play Survivor since lots of killer are probably playing and grinding.

Queue's for Survivor are running ~ 10 minutes atm, for me at least.
Also, I only did this because someone accused me of lying when I said my Killer queue's were awful.

You have cross play off which yeah I get it’s really annoying it takes that long to find a match. But with it on it would be instant. Double edge sword there my friend. Do you want a match instantly against PC players, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch? Or wait forever for your home station only to get potatoes that d/c to the slightest inconvenience?

Me and my boys have been playing against a lot of....questionable Killers.
On the bright side, my NOED stats are being boosted to the stratosphere.

If I were on the Series X or Series S, I would turn it on.
But I am at a massive disadvantage since I'm on the One X.

is it really that bad? I mean I had a PS4 pro when nemesis came out and yeah I remember it being pretty unplayable but after the patch I could play again. Then I got a ps5 but I don’t remember it being super terrible

Right now my killer queues are horrible I mean it is easier to get bp so I'm grinding while playing survivor, 3:16 a.m central time.

But killers are leaving leading to extremly short killer queues?
On a serious note I'm suspecting a matchmaking bug going around again.
My survivor queues this week have varried from 10+ minutes to instantly on the same time period.
Killer queues weren't as extreme but also noticable

Then dump your build and relax a little. You are playing meta blight with good addons so i don't know what you are expecting after getting your mmr that high.

Even if I purposefully threw games like you suggested, it would take MANY games to dump enough MMR.

It's still bad on PS4. The last 4 matches I've played have all had massive lag spikes any time a survivor goes for an unhook.

Try doing an hour or two queue time for killer, that happened to me back when the Halloween event wasn't shite

I got no problem at gmt +0 morning is the time to play surv (if u dont mind bad players) and add Prove thyself+ WGLF,totem search perk and get as much points as possible.On night is killer time and game finding is instant.
I noticed more SWF players but much of em arent the Squads im used to play vs

I had a multi-hour Blight queue with Crossplay off during the 2nd to last MMR test I think.

Understandable.
But my Killer queue times are so fast I don't have time to change my perk loadouts. :P

I also have crossplay off and the time didn't really get longer for me. At night it even got faster even. I'm on PC tho, not sure if there's many players on console with cross off

Same here. As a PC player I think they should add a console-only crossplay option. Queues for survivor were better before crossplay anyway.

You would be better off just enabling crossplay and dodging the PC players you don't want to play with. The number of PS4/PS5 survivors queuing would dramatically shorten wait times for you. With the builds you are running, you could handle the PC players as well.

If you are good then you don't need that build right?
I manage my mmr and keep it in an area that avoids most of the twitch and sweaty 4 man survivors but keeps things interesting while running non meta. Way more fun and quick queue times.

You have the option to turn on crossplay but you don't. It's your choice to wait so long.
Killer Qs with crossplay on are few seconds.
"But i don't wanna play with hackers"
It happens very rarely but again it's your choice.

If I recall, you have crossplay off. That's going to give you very long queue times.

I don't want to play against PC players who have a giant advantage against me because BHVR can't make a functional game.

I'm the first one to attack BHVR when I can, but you can't really blame BHVR for PC superiority.
(even without performance issues, PC is always going to stomp thanks to superior controls and general performance ceiling)
