Opinions on new Survivor perks?
What is your opinion on his 3 new perks?
I think that the new Boon might be OP in some cases / againts some Killers (hello Twins). Overcome sounds good but it will not beat DH I think. And his last skillcheck perk is so bad lol.

The boon is pretty eh. Maybe would be really strong in maps where the totem is at the third floor like Ironworks and killer is already pressed for time. I'd rather run shadowstep really.
Overcome potentially might be a perk to use to bully killer. I'm thinking of trying 4 Vigils and Circle of healing for this one You're gonna get rolled if you're an M1 killer.

for me survivors new perks are boring i was hoping for something fun to use like with RE chapter where we got flash bang and blast mine

I'm not worried about the Boon or the skillcheck perk.
Overcome could be a ######### nightmare though

Maybe Overcome will be useful, but IMO it is outclassed by Sprint Burst and Dead Hard. It is not the worst Exhaustion-Perk, but certainly not the best.
The Boon is bad. It is outclassed by Unbreakable and even UB is already really situational. Yes, the Boon grants a very fast Recovery and can be used multiple times, but you need to the Totem up for that. So UB is already stronger, it is slower and one-time, but does not need preparation. IMO the new Boon will not be played.
The last Perk is crap.

BHVR are making an error of judgement, I believe. They're trying to shake up the meta by adding even more powerful perks, rather than looking to weaken existing power perks and adding perks which compliment existing perks or newer mechanics. By doing what they are, it will cause greater issues.
They ought to slow down, think about how best to plan the direction and come up with a plan to bring about more variety.

None of them will be used much after the first week or two.

Overcome is quite good, we'll see it a lot.
Skill check perk is just bad. It's for new players I guess.
Boon Unbreakable I think people are underestimating. If boons weren't as strong as they currently are or CoH wasn't meta then I might agree it's niche. However, people are already running CoH and killers generally speaking already don't snuff boons as you can't afford to waste the time. This means there's no cost to placing it since you are already going to anyway for CoH and the likelyhood of it being up and someone in it is much greater. Saying the killer will just go find the boon and snuff it out after downing someone is a bit disingenuous as that time is enough to pick up the downed survivor anyway. I don't think it will be meta, but it will be extremely annoying and strong in a swf group.

I agree on the point about meta perks.
They don't realize that the main issue limiting the survivor perk meta is that the meta perks are too strong to where it blows out the competition. In order to change their meta they released boons that are at least as good as their current meta...which as I stated is already too strong. To change the survivor meta they need to dial back the extreme outliers to make other perks seem better. The survivor meta is less an issue of perks not being good enough and more an issue of certain perks being too good. This is not me saying there aren't a metric ton of survivor perks that could use buffs, there are.
Killer meta is a different issue. They don't have meta perks that are too strong blowing out the others from being used. Their other perks are simply just flat out bad. For killers it is an issue of all the other perks needing to be brought up. The other issue with the killers is that many of their perks are basically auto locked if they want a chance at competing.
Both sides have at least 75% of their perks that need buffing but the sides metas are suffering from different things.
They also actively kill synergy with perks/killers every time there's potentially something new forcing everyone back into the same meta. Bar a couple exceptions, the best perks on nearly every killer is the same. That's bad design.

Overcome is going to probably be OP. Boons as a whole are almost certainly going to get nerfed in the midpatch (CoH is too strong as it is).
Exponential will be fine.

I'm pretty sure Overcome is going to be incredibly broken at lower MMRs, because it's an exhaustion perk that you can basically never accidentally trigger when you don't want it (SB) or comically misuse (DH) or require correct environmental positioning (Lithe). It's get hit -> make huge distance in the range where hold W is already at its absolute strongest.

Boon: Exponential seems kind of situational. Corrective Action seems kind of bad. Overcome seems strong and might be annoying to go against.

They are all kinda bad tbh
The skillcheck perk is just a perk to help your friend who is new to the game. Not an actual perk powerwise
The boon is way to situational. The boon has to be up, the killer has to be slugging, you have to be in the area of the boon and you have to be downed outside of the killers hearing radius of the boon or it will just be snuffed. Going to make some good meme builds with soul guard and tenacity that people will see in a youtube video and cry overpowered without ever having faced it themself but overal survivors are just better of sticking with unbreakable.
Overcome blowns my mind that people think will be the next dead hard. IMO it's close to the worst exhaustion perk in the game. Everybody looks at the one video where the perk buys a load of time vs a powerless m1 killler but killers aren't quite that weak yet. Face a killer with any kind of instant down power/addon/perk and it can potentionaly make the perk never activate at all. Most people agree that not bringing an exhaustion perk is handicapping yourself so bringing one that might never be useable doesn't sound good at all.
Killers with movement abilities also drasticly reduce the effectiveness. A Legion will either go for someone else and chase you later when you are exhaustionperkless or they will easilly catch up with their 10 seconds duration sprint and then you have to loop without a panic button like dead hard. Same with Wraith. Blights and nurses will also rapidly close the distance you made with the perk.
When you start looking at Overcome realistically almost half the roster can reduce or completly negate the perks effectiveness. The only killers that really struggle against it are killers who are strugling regardless. Survivors are not going to bring a perk to counter weaker killers they are going to bring dead hard which is good no matter what killer you face.
And the biggest nail in the coffin of Overcome is that it does nothing when you are unhooked. With sprint burst or Dead Hard you have a fighting chance against a tunneling of hook killer. Overcome does nothing. Those 8 or so seconds longer it took the killer to catch up really don't sound to good when you start concidering the negatives about the perk.

Ah, sorry I didn't make it clear: I was answering the question directly in regard to survivor perks; not killer perks.
Since I've found the survivor perks much more beneficial, I'd focus on them to start. However, if by changing those perks it means a killer perk becomes too effective for whatever reason then I'd look at altering that.

the boon perk isn't that strong, the other are 2 are good.
