Soo killer needs nerfs?
I don’t know if it’s just me but Artist is not as good as everyone makes her out to be. Holding W cripples this killer badly and the genrush sweat squads ######### annihilate her she doesn’t need nerfs

She doesnt.

I agree she doesn’t need nerfs but she’s making me want to play nemesis and Blight more at least there more fun she is not very fun to play cause of the hold w
1 -
And as they make a killer that is countered by Hold-W, they release Overcome.
1 -
honestly this might sound stupid but I wouldn’t mind a stamina bar I would make it so if you run for 20 seconds without stopping the bar hits 0 and survivors run at 50% speed until the bar refills. This would shut everyone the ######### up about holding W
1 -
They would need a counter-buff, like a faster running speed and I dont want every survivor gaming with an off-brand sprint burst.

You should never really chase someone who's holding W unless you're confident in your snipes. If you want a chaser, play a chase killer.
Carmina requires you to snipe with her power, one crow at a time.
The cooldown on her power is 5 seconds for one crow, 9 seconds for two, and 12 for three. The crows take 9 seconds to repel. The only way you're damaging people with her power is by single crow sniping, or loop set ups.
Also worth noting is the survivor invinc frames between crow hits is 0.75 seconds. You can do a nasty set up where you get a free injure full map away if you space two crows out at a generator probably. Loving tinkerer on her for that reason.

Yep.
The PTB nerf hurt her quite a bit - she can no longer lay 'bird mines', all that will happen is they'll get swarmed (which never lasts long enough).
She's fun at least, and hopefully won't end up getting rocked by nerfs.
1 -
I don't think she's that good. She adds more variety to my playlist and has the potential to stop survivors from running around the shack but so do other killers.
2 -
I must be playing her wrong, because I don't find her all that strong after playing a few matches. Excellent artistic design. I, uh, don't mean that as a pun.

I don't understand why people even said she was overpowered. I would say the nerfs she was given don't really affect her, and are 100% healthy changes.
However, I do believe we should give the new killer some time instead of calling her weak, we don't know what she's fully capable of... yet.

Lots of content creators made click bait videos about her being OP or S tier. Content creators do a lot to affect the direction of opinion in the community.

I still want some time to get to adjust to her power, personally, but I think she has some real potential and nerfing her is almost the definition of a bad idea. W key hurts most killers that aren't trap based, Blight, Nurse, or Spirit, but with how you can place multiple birds to sort of "broaden" the radius of her attack, I think it could be potentially detrimental to just W key without finding some for of LOS blockers to prevent her from using this tactic.
All in all, I think she's in an ok spot for now, but like I said, I want some more time to play as and against her before I make my decision on how I feel about her and her power.

I mean I don't blame people, as running as far away from her while she plants her crows is the best way to counter her ability. I can say that with certainly as that is the best tactic that people used when I was playing as, and vs. her. That's her counter 1000%. But you can also the crows to attempt to damage if they run, and also bait the crows and hit them while if they attempt to leave the loop. So it's not like she this weak thing now.

She got strong map awareness. I'd say she either need reduced damage line for crows or lesser m/speed.
1 -
LOL. You guys really won't be happy until every survivor just jumps right onto the hooks for you the moment the game starts. Max twenty second stamina bar. That's beyond hilarious.
That'd be comparable to the killer taking two pallet hits, they gain a concussion and can't move for two minutes until they have a chance to call the Doctor over to give them a checkup. The doctor, of course, must call the nurse
2 -
Well, Doctor and a Nurse, I don't mind having two more killers in play after just 2 pallet stuns.
We already have a nerf to killers in the form of CoH.
I have a prediction that Artist eventually will become second Nurse, easy to understand, hard to master.

Now now. They're just to treat the head injury. No tag team matches.unless, of course, you mean they take over while your original killer has to sit out with brain trauma.

It's not just you. Her power is overrated.
Actually this killer basekit is not very fun and not very strong, hold W to win. There is no incentive to do long shot, the cooldown is too long, and the crows are too fast to take off.
The thing is, she can stomp noob players that will try to loop her, so guess what ? She gonna get nerfed.
Kekw.

Just like how pinhead was fine. She will "over perform" against newer players like pinhead does then she will get the nerf bat. I give it 1 to 2 months like they did with pinhead.
Next nerf will be to add a larger delay after placing the crows to being able to fire them off cause there is no "counter play".

Yeah, I am not sure if releasing another killer that can be countered by holding W was a good idea.
Don't get me wrong, I really liked the Artist. So much so that I would love to see her running around on an old map with a lot of Fog (Old Wretched Shop in particular, for some reason).
However...
Her power being countered by holding W, instead of regular loops merely adds more salt to the wound and makes the situation worse than it already is.
Holding W is pathetic. It cannot even be called a "strategy".

Just a reminder that you don't have to be good at this game to have an opinion, or make a post about it. So when you see people say things like this, it's not bad to ask yourself "Is this person clueless, or do they have a point? Am I clueless? Oh no."

That's an excellent idea.

Spam crows @ Gens. Wow, fascinating gameplay.
1 -
Atleast nemesis has a dynamic gameplay of his zombies and infecting different people and spreading pressure
0 -
You get a global audio cue, good survivors will ya know, get off the gens.

All too true. I'd argue some of them do more harm than good for the game overall. Even if they mean well, their spazzing about things that don't deserve to be spazzed about ruin peoples brain sometimes who lack independent thought.

I agree I love the dbd YouTubers but sometimes they say stuff that’s so stupid. An example Scott’s 7.0.0 video a joke yes but people said all the changes were great. There’s a reason the devs sometimes don’t listen to high profile YouTubers there ideas won’t work in practice but some are good

Hold W wouldn't be as annoying as it is if the maps weren't so massive. Hold W isn't super effective on maps like Dead Dawg and, um, idk im sure there's some other small map I'm forgetting about. However, hold W is very effective on gigantic maps such as Ormond, Eyrie of Crows (which is essentially Ormond on crack), Temple of Purgation (Ormond but more balanced), and Blood Lodge. I really think the best way to buff killers is to MAKE THE MAPS SMALLER HOLY #########!!!

Why do people always say that "SWF sweat squads will destroy her". Obviously they will, this isn't anything new. Even Nurse has a hard time winning against sweat squads.
