Survivor queue too long because killer role is trashed.
Nice job BHVR... Now even assiduous killer players (including me) are going to survivor queue only - because killer role is average 4 or 5 hooks (if you´re playing with high MMR) and maybe more 2 or 3 hooks after gens are done thanks to face camping.
Devs should fix it quick or the player base will die.

You could just like.. load into a match and stare at a corner for 5 mins. Let all 4 survs escape. Do this for an hour or so, and bam your mmr is lowered to a more fun level.
Not that I'm condoning going afk for no reason other than to lower your mmr.. it's kind of a lame thing to do, but it would be a semi solution for you at least.

You're not being truthful. When I play survivor the wait is anywhere from 2 to 6 minutes.

Depends on your region and time of day.
For the most part mines are also instant

Can we stop calling people liars? I am being truthful. My survivor queues are instant all day until around 1:00 a.m., then it takes around 3-4 minutes (sometimes sooner).
Edit: My killer queues can sometimes take much longer than my survivor queues.

Survivor queue is instant for me. It's just time of the day really. Night is when you should be playing KIller.

Some times survivor queue is quick? OK. Killer queue is always ALOT faster, the only moment that is a little bit slow is early in the morning and it´s NOTHING compared to the long survivor queues at night. Compare it.

During the time of day most people are probably working/school. At prime time survivor ques are slow.

It doesn't make sense that we play at the same time and yours are instant, where as mine, and many others, are long. This is well documented at this point. What's your time zone? What do you think your MMR is?

Also survivor queue for me fine at night too like 3-5 minutes top. Anything close to midnight is obviously long and you should really be going to sleep.

Please, bloody hell, don't do this.
Technically if enough people report you for non-participation, you might eat a ban for botting. There are a few unverified stories of this out in the wild. And smurfing is a damn plague in games like this, I already run into at least 1 smurfing TTV stompcomp every two or three days.
A better bet is to set you own goals in the match. Try to hook everyone at least once, then just practice chasing etc. At least they'll get some BP.

Not really. Even the longest Survivor Queues are not even close to the longest Killer Queues I experience. In the evening, Killer is instant, but Survivor is not as long as Killer over the day (where Survivor is instant).

The current DbD doesn't have a casual match mode where you can take it easy, and you are expected to play at your best at all times.
The previous matching system was the opposite, only casual matches were available unless you used SWF. No matter how hard you tried to escape, you were always dragged down by lazy survivors who were only trying to have fun, making it difficult to escape even against a killer of your own rank.
The current DbD is a very interesting environment for who want to "win". The more you win, the stronger your opponents get, and you're always matched up with the right people to put your all into. On the other hand, many players who play this game for fun rather than victory feel that they are not having fun because they are constantly being matched with tough opponents.
Separating casual matches from ranked matches is what DbD needs most right now, in my opinion.

People still don't want killers buffed though. I honestly think if push came to shove, most players would prefer 20 minute to 1 hour long queues over every killer actually being strong and competitive. I saw one guy elsewhere complaining about it and was adamant there should be more nerfs for killer, not buffs, and the correct solution would be to put in a "survivor coin" system where you get "survivor coins" for playing killer and can use them to play survivor. No coins=no survivor for you lmao.
Just funny the lengths some people will go. "I want this solved but I don't actually want to do anything to help solve it."

In my case it depends on the hour of the day.
In Europe before 7-8 pm the killer queues are longer, but after that hour all the fellas are coming from work/university, there are more survivors and the killer queues are shorter.

My waits as survivor haven't been bad for awhile. I play on PS4 with crossplay off, alot of PS4 players turn off crossplay when they play killer matches so it helps with queue times as survivor.

My survivor queues are 5 secs only atm, saying all killers are leaving doesn’t make it true. I do agree that playing killer is way more frustrating than survivor

You are right but the game dont have enough killer for that.
Rank mode dont have enough killer because they go play casual so the killer who stay in rank know they will probably face swf so they mostly play nurse, blight. Survivor queue are going to be high because of the lack of killer in that mode.
The rest of the killer are mostly going to play casual their queue will be a bit longer but the game dont have a lot of killer so no more than 5 minute and the people in that mode are going to have fun.
Then the swf who want to rank but dont like to wait too much are going to go casual because the varuety of killer will be better and the queue time. Now the casual killer wont like this because they are going to get stomp much more so the risk they drop the game is higher.
So the mode we have right now is kinda fine because if you want to troll you can do it. You just need to drop your mmr so you dont get stomp too fast and can actually have fun.

Killer on console tend to play with crossplay off so the ratio between both sides is way closer to 4:1 or even lower going to 3:1 or less leading to longer killer queue times.

As are mine. It's strange to see just a couple of (primarily killer main) people in here calling others liars, when there are plenty of people saying their queues are instant.

As a killer main, my survivor queues are instant... During the day. At night? We don't talk about that horror. Convenient to be a killer main during those dark hours...

I'm a 50/50 player. I just disproved you and it has nothing to do with survivor or killer mains. He just plays during hours I don't. When I'm online, the survivor ques are long. I work so I can't get online during the afternoon or morning.

I've never waited longer than 3 minutes for a survivor game at night. In Ober a year. And I have cross play turned off. The only time my times are higher is during the day hours. Now when I play killer, my wait times are longer. And I get 3 and 4ks most games.

My escape rate is mixed. I can't say what it would be. Playing swfs I die a little more. Playing killer which I play more of, I get more kills, very rarely do I not get at least 1 kill and I don't camp or tunnel.

I don't know. When I play survivor I'm always solo so I die more than I escape. When I play killer I usually get at least 3 kills. Sometimes 0 when I run into a ninja SWF. I don't tunnel myself. I use to but quit because I hate it when it happens to me.
