Artist is a very underwhelming, weaker doctor

Her best counter is very simple, holding W and leaving loops whenever she starts to deploy multiple crows. Once that happens, regardless of how many crows deployed, she has no power for couple seconds.

Damaging good survivors with her crows is nearly impossible. Her power is only good for checking gens, you will most likely never injure a swarmed survivor with her power because by the time her power is ready, the survivor will already have repelled the crow.

Doctor shocks are harder to dodge and have less risk, shock therapy has a very short slowdown and no cooldown, meaning even if survivors leave the loop, you don't lose a lot of distance.

This killer is simply a noob stomper

It doesn't matter where you put it.

You go to the left, deploy crow (get slowed), survivor goes to the right and leave the loop. Ofc if it's only one crow on the loop survivors may attempt to juke it, pretending to run towards the crow only to double back, but if it's more than one they will easily leave.

The infinite range is only good for map patrol and checking gens, that's the only plus the killer has. Say what you want, even legion is better than artist

Aim the crow not at the loop you are at but the one the hold w gamer is going to run to.

Once they are swarmed you can have 3 crows to shoot through walls.

I can get the argument that she's probably not S-tier but saying she's bad is most likely a you issue

Putting one crow is better anyway. It's the killer player's problem if he didn't adapt and still kept setting up three stupid crows lmao.

Not in the slightest. If you're smart, you learn when to place a crow on the loop, and when to aim at the path they're likely to take from the loop to the next one.

Doctor's power is garbage. It's a reveal at best, it does no damage. It's also far less consistent than artist. If I hit with artist, I hit. If I hit with Doctor, 90% of the time the survivor screams, then proceeds to drop the pallet or vault regardless.

You actually need Range add ons if you want him to be an actual anti loop killer by the way.

Use one crow at a loop. In general, you want to follow them, so if they try to hold W they can't make distance. Now, they have 3 options. Getting zoned by the crow, in which case they get m1'd. Or, get damaged by the crow/swarmed (it depends on how you set it up).

If they get swarmed, ready your power when your gauge is about to come fully back (for whatever reason, the game lets you do that preemptively). You will be able to place the crows immediately as soon as available, so you can shotgun before repel is complete.

She is a solid B tier. This means she is useless against good survivors but will stomp casuals.

The cooldown for using only 1 crow is shorter, which means you can deploy another one or even two before the survivor is able to repel a Swarm. If a survivor vaults a window or drops a pallet it resets their repel action, so you can deploy two or even three in that case. If a survivor is able to repel before you release another crow, that's you not knowing how to use the power, not the killer being weak.

I’ve said for a while Artist will end up in the same tier list buckets as Doctor. She’s got tracking almost on par with his and a similar zoning style. And they have a similar weakness in not having any way to traverse the map quickly or get instant downs (aside from that rare multiple crow long range snipe that’s possible but avoidable if survivors are paying attention.)

I don't think she's necessarily weaker than Doctor, but she basically gets the same effect.

They both have really good tracking. They both have okay anti-loop. Artist's birds just take more skill than Doc's Shock but give you basically the same effect.
