to bad those changes will never come I thought they were making a change for the better but it’s just the same old really bummed me out about this game when I realized it was fake

It's easy to make a patch look good on paper. It could easilly be the worst patch after playtesting.

Yeah actually shrinking big maps and fixing the money system so God loops like 3 windows into shack doesn't happen sounds like such a bad thing huh?

I don't agree with ALL of those joke patch notes, but at least HALF of what is in there would massively increase the fun both sides have. Some notes would even balance out the massive imbalance between solo and swf, such as kindred baseline. While other notes would mean QOL for killers, make it less of an agonizing pain to run against SWF who are on comms.

That is actually suggested a lot to help soloQ.
By it, they mean only survivor aura reading part, killer part would stay with a perk.
Thing is that this is information that is easily shared by SWF ->who will go for unhook. SoloQ doesn't know that, so they either have noone or multiple survivors running for unhooking.

A lot of those changes just straight up weren't very good. Most of the killer-specific changes were mediocre (Legion aside, that was pretty good), some stuff was so vague that it's impossible not to sound good (we'd all like "we improved tile spawns" to be in some patch notes but what exactly does that look like?), some stuff was actively bad (like removing Bloodlust), and some was pointless and petty (removing Overheat, for example).
Some of those ideas were good. The Kindred changes looked pretty decent, though they'd need to be tested, and I actually don't hate the killer realm-ban system he proposed... but the good ideas were not the majority.
