Game is extremely dark for no reason

Step 1 : Update to the latest patch (5.4.0)
Step 2 : Start the game
Step 3 : The game is very dark, except the UI, which looks normal
Step 4 : Proceed to try different methods to fix it (change the PC brightness levels, change the in game settings), without anything working.

I saw a streamer have the same issue, they had to reinstall or do something with the game files.

Okay so I checked the streamer's vod for you and what he did was something to do with the app data in documents and then delete the DBD folder. No idea if that will make any sense to you but It took him like 2 minutes to do it.
So deleting the app data is the fix.
