Stake Out and Ruin

Getting close to the Killer fills you with determination. For each 15 seconds you are standing within the Killer's Terror Radius and are not in a Chase, you gain a Token up to a maximum of 2/3/4 Tokens.
When Stake Out has at least 1 Token, Good Skill Checks are considered Great Skill Checks and consume 1 Token.

Has anyone tried this with Hex: Ruin? I was curious if Hex skill checks are considered as Great Skill Checks, so having at least 1 token and hitting good skill check on a generator with Ruin should not cause it to regress. Does anyone know?

Yes, you can fail to hit the Great Skill Checks while Hex: Ruin is up, and all skill checks while you have tokens will count like as if you succeeded a Great Skill Check while also increasing the generator by (5%? Not sure of the value but it does increase it) and rewarding +150 Blood Points.

It's definitely the counter perk to Hex: Ruin.

It works against Ruin the way it should.

Stake Out and Detectives hunch are probably two of Tapps best perks.

Tenacity with Unbreakable might be nice.

It's nice but like unbreakable it's reliant on the killer leaving you down which makes it really situational good but situational.

Stake Out is an amazing perk.  I highly recommend. It does work against Ruin.
