Anti-Boon Build: The Trap Totem Build
So the idea behind this build is to make it so survivors can't use their stupid Boon Totems by filling up the totem slots and then making the destroyed and unlit totems valuable assets. Our build is:
Hex: Plaything.
Reason: This one forces a survivor to cleanse or be Oblivious all game long.
Hex: Pentimento.
Reason: Turn the cleansed totems into assets. This is your passive game slowdown. if they don't cleanse these, they suffer. And cleansing takes time.
Hex: Haunted Ground.
Reason: Eats up 2 totems and exposed for 60 seconds is amazing anyway.
Hex: Undying.
Reason: Eats up still a third, maybe even a fourth totem and makes your good totems stay up longer.
You can also sub out Undying for Thrill of the Hunt or any other Hex you like, or even be a real bastard and stack Dying Light or Thanatophobia on top of it. But Plaything, Pentimento and Haunted Ground are crucial.

can't they just bless over them though

Nope. 4 or maybe even all 5 are lit from the start and if they break them you relight with pentimento. If they get hooked and a dull is still on the map, it becomes a Plaything totem they must cleanse or remain oblivious all game long. If they cleanse it...Pentimento again to make it a lit totem. Regardless, you make the Survivors spend the entire game lighting and breaking totems ..or they can ignore them and deal with the consequences, plus Haunted Ground makes it so there's a 40% chance the totem they cleanse will make their entire team Exposed for a minute. Imagine being in a chase and then a totem falls and you get one-shotted, then hooked and made Oblivious, then the Killer turns the destroyed totem into a Hex totem anyway.
Time-waster and 100% counters Boons. It's actually a good build in general; I've been trying it out at red ranks and it works a treat.

You can just bless over the hexes and deny their effects and Pentimento only works if people cleanse a totem, but since they are using boons they won't cleanse. It's not that much of a time waste and definitely not a 100% counter to boons.

You can't bless over Haunted. Trust me, I played match againts this build yesterday and I thought I can bless over it, nope. So I wasted XX extra seconds on blessing.
If you realise killer is probably playing this or similar build, just clense it. Don't give him the value from Thrill or other perks.

Doesn't work that way. I am literally using this build to amazing effect right now. I'm telling you, it works fantastically well.
Cleansing is worse. Then the Killer relights it with Pentimento and you have to go back and waste MORE time cleansing it again. If you don't, you eat the penalty. It's almost foolproof.

Either way Survivors have to waste extra seconds, either return to that totem and cleanse it OR just bless it which takes twice as much time.
Also I cleansed his totem, hide in a locker next to it, killer come there after like 10 seconds to activate his hex totem and then I cleanse it in like 16 seconds after he left. Haha :D

Still time you weren't on a gen and that's time wasted. Perk value attained.
