why do you want us to sandbag our teams?

People just load in, sabo a few hooks, die move onto next until challenge is done. Stupid

    But my challenge...

You better hope I don't have pallet stun challenge, or glyph challenge. I am gonna be so useless.

I mean, challenges are best side objective ever to help killers. Killer challenges usually mean just play normally and you do it, but there are few weird killer specific.

I did it with brown toolbox, 8 charges add on and saboteur perk in 3 games in a row.

Oh yea and we got 3, 4 and 3man escapes these games, I died once.

Out of any dumb challenges this is the least sandbaggy one imo

Ugh people always make shortcuts for these challenges. Just for what, 25K BPs? This is solo q hell. At least when you play with friends the others know about what you are trying to do and can play around it.

I try to change my builds when I do challenges, i.e. the sabo challenge: I will then change my build to

Saboteur, Breakout, MoM, DH. I will then bring a Alex's toolbox, hacksaw and extra charges.

I'm then doing challenge, play normally and at least trying to help teammates.

When I read that challenge yesterday I couldn't believe it.

Actually, a Steve was clearly doing that challenge. He sabotaged a hook as soon as we loaded in then the killer chased me for literally near the entire game.

Almost ######### me over, so yeah I'm not looking forward to everyone loading in and alerting the killers attention to more than likely me.

    Feels bad man.

I feel like survivor challenges in general are pretty lacking. Killers you get done through normal gameplay (even though breaking 40 pallets/walls/gens, is kinda grindy). Meanwhile most of survivor challenges are second objectives (unhooks/bones, where they have to compete with each other), grindy (repair x gens by yourself, I prefer the "be alive while x generators get completed") or just wasting time not doing anything and probably sandbag your team (sabo, waste x amount of pallets while being chased, fall from great heights x times). Glyphs are also kinda bad, but I'll accept that since killers have those too.

Personally my favorite kind of challenges are Master Challenges, you have to do in 1 game. Some might be dumb, but at least doesn't require me to go out of my way to be useless to my team multiple games in a row.

Why not just play normally with a slightly different build geared toward the challenge instead of throwing multiple matches?

Killer challenges:"Just play the game, sweetheart"

Survivor challenges:"Sabo 34 hooks and cleanse 78 totems, you f donkey, while being in chase using perk Urban Evasion. Complete in the single trial"

    Bruh.

God forbid people not playing like their lifes depend on it for a couple of matches

There are killer challenges that require us to use god awful perks and playstyles, too. The Huntress ones generally stand out. Use Beast of Prey, get X # of melee swings with no hatchets on your belt.

I understand that survivors sandbagging teammates for these archives is a genuine issue, but I see a lot of comments that demonstrate they've clearly never actually looked at the killer archives.

I can't wait for all the randoms to hide for the entire match waiting for everyone to die so they can get hatch while running Alert.

I mean, that's a fair point too. That Huntress one, the Clown one, where you had give survivors yellow bottle and then purple (or opposite order, can't remember) and the Plague where you had to hit two survivors with Corrupt Purge twice in a trial were awful as well. But at least you're going in, knowing that you're gonna have to throw a bit to get your challenge. It's something you set yourself up for. When you do that as survivor, you're ruining the experience for 3 others.

At least for killers it's just Master Challenges that are odd, the others you get through normal gameplay without having to go out of your way to get it.

Omg how about hide within the 10 meters for 110 seconds without getting caught...

A survivor ruining the experience of other survivors is the cost you pay for being the power role and the 4 man in the 4 v 1.

Additionally, killers who identify sandbaggers tend to go out of their way to make them miserable. We don't like games that are atrociously easy, just like we don't like 4 man SWF squads we can do nothing about. We want something competitive.

Why have challenges like escape through the hatch while using alert? Its going to make people hide, do nothing and hope their team dies.

If you want us to try other perks buff them

I like the sabo challenges because they are easy to do over time in game. I hate these "do it in one trial", esp. stuns or blinds - i can´t do these things very good.

I mean it's the fastest way to do these types of challenges

Exactly, who cares if the rest of the team wants to win right

Nah, we still gotta chase stupid glyphs or 3K with a piss-poor set of perks.
