Survivors that don’t leave
To the people that refuse to leave the game until they’ve got the killers attention at the exit gates just so you can teabag and click your flashlight. Why?
when there’s literally nothing else to be done, all other survivors are either dead, escaped or at the gates with you fully healed. Why?
when you’ll repeatedly fast vault a window just to try and draw the killer over to the exit gates and annoy them even further. Why?
seriously what is the point?
Who hurt you? What went wrong in your life where annoying others is your only source of pleasure?

Same could be asked for killers who leave everyone slugged on the ground to bleed out
Its simple, they wanna be a dick
23 -
Because they are not nice people.
16 -
It's just immaturity. Paulie esther put it in a good perspective, imagine if they were acting like this in person, in say a tournament.
Would seriously look like some babies.

Slugging is valid strategy to win games and wait out DS and the best way to secure the 4K
waiting to teabag at the exit gates and clicky click serves no in game purpose other than to annoy
7 -
That's not what they are talking about and you know it.
11 -
Oh well in that case
Some people wait at the exit gate to make sure their teammates are safe, maybe get in a few extra heals for points
See what I did there? Completely ignored the main point?
Slugging is a valid strategy, yes
But having every one slugged on the ground for 4 minutes for them to bleed out isnt strategy, its simply wasting every ones time, and you yourself as a killer are losing points from not getting sacrifices

It is a mind game. You have options depending on the killer you run. For example, you could spam killer powers for the points, search out doors and pallets to break, totems to snuff and you can practice your power. Or you can do the dance at the gate to speed up their exit. Sometimes they get too cocky and things get spicy. It is pointless to try and change their behavior as annoying you is the point.

Fair enough, sorry I didn’t realise you meant slugging just for the sake of it when you don’t need to. I thought you were just talking about slugging in general
yes killers who do that are also dicks, although I will say I see that far less than survivors who simply won’t leave, that seems to happen almost every other game

I can posit only a single, legit, logical reason. They want you to come over and trigger a chase so they can get some more blood points.
I wouldn't wager this is a common reason, just that it *is* a plausible one.
0 -
You know exactly why. What they could do is add a secondary effect to Blood Warden. Whenever you are within an exit gate area, that exit gate becomes blocked. 😄
0 -
I really don't care or get bothered by it. I just scroll through my phone til the game is over lol.
Not really a big deal
1 -
Because they are likely adults or teenagers with the maturity of a child. Go break pallets, walls, or try running endgame builds to make them regret making it to endgame at all.
5 -
Push them out.

Stacks

I've noticed this the most when there BnP or when they just w with spine chill and got only objective points. I've stopped feeding end game points and its fun that they have to sit there and noise spam because I took my headphones off and walked away. The average BP gain is like 11k(with the 5k escape)

Why do you let something so trivial bother you? Letting other people live rent free in your head is silly.
Go grab a drink...use the restroom...watch a YT video...
Seriously - stop letting the inane actions of a few bother you so much in an online game - it serves no purpose.
4 -
I don’t get it either...

If nothing else "go do something else whilst you wait for people to stop ######### about and end the game already" is a waste of time. What if I want to queue for the next game? This one's over.
2 -
Eyeroll. Oh no you have to wait 1-2 minutes what ever will you do???
0 -
Be annoyed at the cumulative time wasted when this repeats in future games for no good reason? It's not like this is a once in a lifetime event.
I have games to play and other people to be teabagged by, just get through the gate already.
0 -
I hope you give the same advice to anyone complaining about getting bled out for 4 minutes or camped for 2.
0 -
I do. You think I haven't been slugged for 4 minutes or camped numerous times (mainly by Bubbas)?
It's a game. I just chalk it up to SDE and move on. I have never purposefully DC'd either... because that's a childish reaction.
If I am camped I hang in there as long as possible so the other survivors can do as much gen work as possible.
If left to bleed out... I just do other stuff online: YT, TikTok, Twitter, etc etc
It's really not that big of a deal... but I know - this is the forums where hyperbole and blowing stuff out of proportion is the status quo.

I usually ignore the people at the exit gates and just watch something while they waste everyones time. Yesterday though i went to the gates since i wasnt in the mood to wait for the kiddos to go out and 1 of them messed up while being a jerk ...and ended up dying for it. Have to say i giggled a bit.
2 -
Nah I rather waste their time breaking pallets and walls while they wait not getting any points.

Just do breakables or my personal favorite as trapper, hag, blight, artist, etc. is to be close enough to the gate that they can see me and just farm points with my power setting a trap picking it up setting it, going in circles setting traps, running into a wall, throwing crows out randomly. My experience has been that Survivors who bm don't want you to get more blood points and will leave if they see you not caring about their bm and farming. In the end I don't really care I play to have fun so I lose nothing but time farming with my power

I don't know about you, but that is super rare and you had to piss him off a lot.
It happened to me twice, once we were dicks and group in corner, so he just wasn't able to hook us anywhere and second we had head-on SWF builds, so I think both were deserved...
But waiting near exit gate? Yeah, that is 100% standard. I don't mind that much when they wait to give you free hit, so both sides get free BP, but there is lot of dicks that just leave when you get close, those are biggest dicks.
0 -
When it happens each game? Yeah, it's annoying a lot.
3 -
That would work for those that wait for a hit = more BP for both sides, but there is quite a lot of survivors that just leave when you get close and sometimes give you some teabags as a gift before leaving...
0 -
They have a psychological need to rub their victory in your face. If you can't see them winning was it worth it?
When the survivors are obviously waiting for me at the end of the match in the exit gates I like to go chill in a building and let them waste their own time without getting to gloat as my last act of defiance.
2 -
What is actually most annoying are survivors that find hatch and just wait for ages on top of it, just so they can jump inside when you get nearby.
Problem is that it can take a long time for me, I am usually lazy and let them find it while watching second monitor...
I had a survivor once that noticed I am afk and that ######### finished all gens and left by gate for Left For Dead achievement.
Funny is that I had Pentimento active, I have noticed him when he finished 2 gens already, so I have just let him do it for that effort.

Look, I wanted to pick them up and hook them, but I couldn't find them again, okay? It's Deep Wounds' fault, not mine!
1 -
The emblem system that gives you grades actually encourage survivors to stay in the trial for as long as possible. You get better survival for living longer. I believe that if you leave early then you will not gain an iridescent emblem. Just a thought.

It used to bother me when I started, after hundred hours of tbagging at gates its just meh, whatever.
You need to understand they will only BM you when they feel safe, after strong pallet drop or one step away from exit gate area.
Either go break walls, pallets, spam your power for some BP, watch YT videos until they leave....or simply just go push them out.
Its not really that personal and you shouldnt take it too seriously, it is after all what they want you to do
0 -
And those 1-2 minutes were never intended to be used like that. Its not like everybody has spare time to use on nothing
0 -
God I hate it when I'm letting them leave and they just stay.
Except when I'm playing plague and they let theirselves be sacrificed.
Hell one time as Plague they were the ones chasing me, that was fun.
0 -
Apparently you do. You’re playing a video game and posting on its forums. And again, alternatively: push them out.
4 -
Yeah i have but some people dont have all day to play. People have some stuff to do and have only little time they can spend on a video game
0 -
I just want a lil slap. Is it too much to ask?
1 -
Again... Eyeroll. It is a MAXIMUM of 2 minutes unless someone is on hook; which is not the complaint here since then you would be defending the hook. I am betting the average is more like 30-45 seconds. If you are going to complain about that I would hate to see what other things you do not have time for - yet spend hours playing a video game.
End game collapse wasn't even a thing before April 2019 and survivors could literally hold the game hostage for 10-20-30 minutes. If you don't have 45 seconds "to waste" you may want a different game that doesn't have others who can stop it for.. SECONDS! Stop the inanity!
0 -
I have never had this happen in almost 1,000 hours of gameplay. Literally not once. Where are these so-called 4 man bleed out killers?
1 -
I believe this is only true up to 9 minutes of being in the game. This caps out after 540 seconds.
0 -
But this game was not made for someone to waste time. It should not be so bad that you have to switch games
0 -
Some survivors will hang around to BM.
Others will hang around until all 4 are safely out, in case I get a last second hook.
Honestly, the exit gate BM is annoying but the survivors that really grind my grapes are the ones who'll 99% the final gen and then spend 30 minutes memeing with sabos, flashlights and bodyblocks or play hide and seek. It's insane to me that this isn't against the rules, as a coordinated group can make it nearly impossible to finish the game.

If the gates are open and there's nothing you can do about it don't go to the exit gates. This is the time to
Get a snack
Get a refill on your beverage
Take a look outside
Do some pushups
Go to the bathroom
Or just force them out your not forced to sit there and watch them dance and flick there flashlights. Unless you secretly want to😏
1 -
Oh FFS - are you being serious??? Switch games?? Because of a 30-60 wait?? Lose the inanity and hyperbole. Putting you on ignore - no time for trolls.
0 -
There is a few reasons why survivors wait at the gate that aren't to do with clicking and t-bagging.
- Getting We're Gonna Live Forever stacks
- Getting extra points in general
- Challenge. I had to get chased by the killer as one yesterday. So I stayed at the exit and kept running while they attacked survivors. Got about 15 seconds extra progress towards it.
They are the main ones. Even if survivors are being toxic it only takes around 15 seconds to push all 4 out which is a lot better than waiting for them to leave.

lol calm down
