It's not worth your stress. Play only against solo love y'all

Nah I like to play all matches out. Best way to improve is to fight good players
16 -
You can't improve any higher with the currest state of the game.
13 -
Pretty arrogant to say that. So you think that you are on the best level you can ever be?
16 -
Nope I definitely can. I’m improving my gameplay every match even in small ways like playing loops better or having better game sense.
Anyway it’s not like losing irritates me unlike most the player base
10 -
Yes. Even the best player cannot play win against 4 well organized SWF that most of the perks don't work on them like plaything, histeria etc. I don't even comment on slow down perks, because they're useless too. The game was always meant to be 1 killer vs 4 strangers.
9 -
Fair. Play Legion against 4 SWF with 4 BNP. Pressure them, and get 12 hooks. No camp, no tunnel.
8 -
I highly doubt that you are as good as you think you are.
9 -
Wanna bet?
0 -
Okay, play Legion at high mmr against 4 SWF
2 -
I dont think it is possible to bet. If you are a Streamer, you might show your gameplay, but I am very sure that at least one person will find multiple mistakes in your games. Since nobody plays perfect all the time.
And usually, the REALLY good players of this game dont really ######### about it that much.

Most SWFs are fine; it's the ones that bring quad toolboxes or medkits in the lobby that you should worry about. Or quad flashlights, because this doesn't necessarily mean that they're good, but it almost indubitably guarantees that they're the type that wants to dunk on the killer and they will be the saltiest bastards alive whether they win or lose.
10 -
How on Earth can you know it's a SWF in the lobby?
2 -
Our spidey senses are tingling.....
7 -
Okay play off meta survivor against an infectious nurse with range and recharge. See what I did there?
You have to set your expectations going into a match. I main clown so I know that I’m going to have a harder time winning matches. It’s what happens when you main a weak killer and something you have to accept. Doesn’t mean you can’t improve

Up vote for acknowledging my spiderman reference lol

Steam profiles, cross play icons

Of course everyone make a mistakes, but I prefer a game to be balanced than abused by broken SWF with coms. Besides even if killer will not make any mistakes he will still get gen rushed ending with either 1/0k if he don't camp/slug or tunnel? You get it?

@Aven_Fallen I wanna see how you counter a window shack as Legion without bamboozle or crowd control. I'm really curious if you will manage to down a survivor before entity close that window.
0 -
Ok, this makes me curious - you have problems at Shack?...
5 -
Dude, you can't do anything at shack as Legion without any entity block perk, no double back, no changing direction, absolutely nothing. They can see your red stain through the walls. Unless the survivor is really dumb and don't know what to do
1 -
You are talking a lot of nonsense. You bring up 4 man SWFs who are experienced at the game on one side and one of the weaker Killers on the other side. This does not make any sense at all. If you want to make a statement, you would have to compare things of somewhat equal strength.
3 -
Yes, because I was playing my favourite killer with potential build: pentimento, plaything, corrupt and thana. Plaything effect was destroyed because of coms from SWF. Imagine trying to down a survivor without a power and bamboozle. Literally impossible against SWF. Even tactics doesn't help.
0 -
I'd really like to see their gameplay, now, too.
I'd imagine that it's exactly what I'm....imagining @_@
3 -
You know there is a specific way you have to push the survivors right?
If you push them via the longest part, they have time to react to you.
Push them via the short part and you get a hit if they try the window 😉
Now i don't want to sound toxic or anything like that, but back up your claims with some footage then.
Every single person can claim to be high mmr without any actual proof 😉
2 -
So what? I must to play a viable killer to actually have fair chance to play? lol
If you guys want to play against that nonsense: fine for me, but don't tell me that this is my fault, because the game is unbalanced as hell

Look away from the wall. Not just normal moonwalking. activilly look away from it.
1 -
That doesn't work because:
They can see me through window.
They will get even more distance and hug the other side of wall (next to the window) and dead hard to gain a distance and vault a window.
0 -
why not just... use bamboozle..? bamboozle/ruin/undying/thana or bamboozle/corrupt/pop/thana or bamboozle/ruin/pentimento/pop or something
1 -
Tried it, didn't worked it either. They camp the window in the shack and then vault when I'm coming in.
0 -
You have the pallet side which is the short side.
If you chase them then force them to run that way around the shack.
If you let them run through the doorway side they can react every single time.
That's how you run the shack and how you get hits without bamboozle.
So what if they can see you through the window, it's not like you're nurse and can teleport to them right?
If you push them the right way, you get a hit.
It's not only a legion thing, all killers have issues if you let survivors run the shack through the doorway
2 -
Because they will simply gen rush. Corrupt is needed because they could just spawn seperated and start working on gens, making 3 gens in one hook.
Pentimento is useless without Plaything.
Thana with pentimento gives maximum debuff of 50% reduced speed on gens.
Ruin is useless now, I'm trying to find a new potential build.
Pop is situational.
0 -
Again, will not work because they can also just shift+W and get to another loop which is terrible for me, other words: MORE TIME WASTED = GEN RUSH
0 -
Maybe they don't have any other slow down perks like no way out, corrupt, deadlock etc unlocked. Ruin is good for pressure, but gets destroyed quickly.
0 -
Tripple window vault. Nobody expects the tripple window vault.
Or is you are really struggling. Why not just use bamboozle. Or just m2 them and go for someone else.
Why are you asking of people to show you how to beat top swf, who use everything the game hasto their advantage, and put unnecessary restraints on themself while doing so.
I play Legion often. I can win against a good swf if i'm on my A game. Can i do it without slugging, camping, tunneling and getting a 8 hook before starting to kill survivors. No probably not.
I also probably can't do it if i tied one of my hands behind my back and blindfold myself. If you keep inventing restrictions for yourself while your opponent can use everything available then ofcourse your not going to do well.
4 -
Not mine, i snatch it of Google.
If you push them around the top side, the will always be able to react to your actions, no matter what you try.
Push them around the bottom side and they can react by vaulting the window without getting hit.
If you let them decide the way they run it than you have still got stuff to learn and you are not as high in mmr as you claim
1 -
Tripple window vault is too risky. They can leave a shack, hold shift+W and again get a huge amount of distance.
This is what I was talking about: Literally impossible to win without slugging/camping or tunneling.
0 -
Ugh.. I'm gonna show you soon why it doesn't work, give me a second
0 -
Then show some gameplay from your matches.
We come with solutions and yet you claim that nothing will work.
You made a post about swf lobbies to dodge, then you suddenly talk about that you can't get downs at shack, people come with solutions and you come with another excuse.
Show some gameplay and people can point out what you do right and what you do wrong
4 -
My thoughts exactly.
Either he's just trolling or just genuinely doesn't want to get helped, either because of is ego or because he genuinely thinks he's high mmr and does nothing wrong 🤷🏼♂️
3 -
Not being able to down before an entity block doesnt prove a whole lot.
Like, sure, it's an annoying time waster but you do have the option of ignoring the shack or brute forcing the pallet.
Killer is Time Management Simulator; you get to dictate how chases play out.
Sometimes you just got to eat the short term Ls.
0 -
This is why it will not work
Black - survivor
Red- killer
0 -
If you don't believe me try it. Works even without dead hard.
0 -
See? Nothing can be done about it.
0 -
Most issues people have with SWF could be solved if the devs just let people see who was SWF.
0 -
Immersednurse beats me to it.
If they go around all that way, you WILL get a hit for sure.
Why?
Because they are not already on the other side by the time you go around to corner.
Because they will wait till they see your red stain, then they start running.
But as i and many others asked, show some actual gameplay and we can help you identify the problem.
This is just constantly saying it doesn't work because this or that or whatever, without seeing some actual gameplay proving it doesn't work.
If you are to scared to show or for whatever reason you don't want to, then that is fine too.
But then we keep it at this as you refuse to take in any advice.
1 -
No it doesn't, cause then swf get little to no matches because most killers will dodge them.
Edit: i just saw that you said was and not is.
If they showed it at the scoreboard then yeah that will be fine
2 -
I don't think that's true- people assume that people playing in a group automatically means that they're on comms, they're exchanging (correct, relevant, tactical) information, they're trying to win...
I see no reason not to assume a huge chunk of SWF players are just mates chilling out with some DBD, and seeing players grouped isn't even a guarantee they're on comms- I've been in groups without comms before, it happens.
The information you'd get from seeing players are in SWF would actually be kinda useless- you could argue that a killer could brace for potentially tougher matches, but since a group of individual competent survivors can be just as rough, you should probably be doing that anyway. It's just not a useful indicator of anything.
2 -
I’ve beaten plenty of teams that were good and probably in comms. Probably because I learned how to play?
2 -
I don't see how that's my issue. People don't want to play against them. Why should you be able to force them?
0 -
I'm not sure how it's useless considering I use such info all the time when I check profiles and see someone is teamed. It would change quite a lot but I get SWF's really don't want it due to fear they'd have longer queues, which is of course not ok to them. "Mates chilling out" are still leagues above SWF because you can actually trust people you know. If my friend is teamed with me, I am fairly confident he will rescue people, rescue me, etc etc even without comms. With randoms I have never met, I know nothing about them and must play assuming they aren't going to do jack.
