Are License Chapters Gonna Be BHVR's Plan To Bring Killer players Back?
I just feel with The Hellraiser chapter and now Ringu being a chapter is this how BHVR is gonna try to bring back a lot of there killer players since there's a few that are just going over and playing Survivor now?
It's cool to see another Icon of horror in this game but, with SBMM/MMR it's gonna be hard to get your killer players back cause they want to have fun and not have to worry about being possibly stressed and having to vs the same swf's and perks every game.
This is a horror game and I welcome other license chapters but, the SBMM doesn't belong in horror games and if this is there way of bringing back their players it probably will work for a day and than they'll probably go again cause MMR is a plague for this game.
MMR should be turned off as this isn't a competitive game just a simple horror game.

No. They would have brought in licenses regardless of if killers are playing or not.
However I do agree mmr needs to go. It only kinda works in balanced games and, as we know, this game is FAR from balanced. Not taking into account killer powers and perks vs survivor items and perks, the maps alone show how unbalanced this game is.

Will depend if the killer is strong.

Also almost everything is mostly RNG at least with maps and spawn placements for gens, totems and players.

I hope not... that'll be (I don't know what word to put here)
They should be getting players to play Killers with every patch and every new Killer... But that's just me

We have Silent Hill and Resident Evil, duh even the Stranger Things, but people still won't play it until the killer will be rewarded for playing well and the game could be actually balanced :)

Pretty obviously not. Even setting aside the fact that licenses bring in killer and survivor players, new or old, they clearly add licenses because that's something that put them on the map and because they enjoy it.

They'll get the players that will grind to unlock the perks, but until some actual gameplay changes come to killers I doubt characters alone will win veteran players over. Then there's the fact we have to wait until at least mid-patch to know if we get to keep them or get the 2.0 version.
New players will come in for these characters, but once the gatekeeping of new player mmr wears off we'll probably just have more survivors.

It is a good plan. I am already excited.
