Perks that were nerfed due to power creep and that effectively a waste of a perk slot now (especially when there is "No Way Out") need to be buffed. There is absolutely no reason someone would bring this perk over No Way Out.

    just give the 5 seconds back. or just make gates regress to 90-80 percent alongside its current affect

    Yeah, Remember Me is pretty much useless in its current state. Just revert the nerf to make it more useful.
