Is the Eyrie of crows map the new old Ormond?
Maybe its me, but this new map remembers me a lot the old Ormond map, a lot of loops and pallets very close one to another.

It's no RPD, that's for sure.
This maps visuals and aesthetic is 10/10 but this map just gives me anxiety as killer.

The map is very cool aesthetically, but is one of the largest and also having a lot of loops

It’s not “one of the largest”. All the maps below are the same size and there are maps larger than all of them.
- Groaning Storehouse
- Fractured Cowshed
- Temple of Purgation
- Both Yamoka Estate maps
- Ormond
- Eyrie of Crows

Yes, that is exactly what it is.
Feels like it has enough pallets to rival the Game, while also all the best tile spawns to make for easy 5+ minute long chases.

Those are all really big maps, though. They might not be Red Forest size, but all of those minus Sanctum of Wrath are survivor-sided, and most of them heavily so.
That said, I haven't really noticed issues with Eyrie except that it sucks for Trapper and stealth killers (and there's some hanging branches that foil Demo and Billy.) It's a big map, but the gen spread is surprisingly tight and visibility is very high.

I personally compare it to Temple of Purgation. Except the main building is stronger on the Crow map

No, they’re actually about the median size. Literally about half the maps are larger than Eyrie and the others I mentioned above.
For reference, Eyrie et al are 9984 square meters. Here’s the area counts of the maps in order (excluding RCPD since the wiki doesn’t have its area)
7264 - 1
8448 - 1
8704 - 2
8832 - 1
8960 - 2
9090 - 1
9216 - 4
9472 - 2
9728 - 1
9984 - 7 (Eyrie of Crows is here)
10240 - 3
10304 - 1
10496 - 2
10752 - 4
11008 - 1
11264 - 2
12032 - 1
(I’m not sure why people keep believing Eyrie is a larger than normal map. It’s like some urban myth that won’t go away,)

Huh, you're right. Strange. I suppose with several of the very large maps like Shelter Woods and Rotten Fields, the size is less noticeable because the map design is "massive dead zone with stuff on the edges" - compared to map like Gas Heaven (or Haddonfield) where large walls increase the map's travel time from A to B. Both Swamp maps have a similar principle, but to a lesser extent. And Azarov's is absolutely massive, but you can afford to ignore half the map due to the way it's split up.
I'm not sure what I'm getting at here, because I think Eyrie's a pretty balanced map, but a lot of the large maps seem deceptively more reasonable due to their layout. It's interesting to examine their real size versus their perceived size - like Badham feels huge due to all the fences, but it's actually slightly below average.

Its long, but rather narrow. You can basically always see the other side of the map.

I like to think Eyrie is most similar to Ormond. They’re both the same size, have bright outdoor terrain with little grass, and a strong central building with two floors, god pallets, a couple of breakable walls and a first floor generator

Let's face it....if a Killer comes with a map only that Killer is viable on said map.....except RPD.....no one is viable on that accursed map from Hell

I mean, I also thought this Map was larger. The same I thought about Ormond. Maybe it is because of the really big Main Building.
Aside from Trapper, I did not have a problem on this Map so far. With Trapper it is clearly the lack of grass and the bright Floor.
@Topic:
I would not call it the new Ormond. What they have in common - Blight suffers on this Map.

I like the map as killer. It's not nearly as bad as old Ormond because most loops are able to be mindgamed. It's a bit more on the survivor side, but at least it's not garbage like RPD, Badham, Haddonfield or Cowshed.

What is one more survivor sided map to the collection? 🤣

Ikr. There are like 3 maps that can be considered really killer sided in the game, so it's not like I'm not used to them now. At least on Eyrie the killers that I play the most (Nurse, Blight, Huntress, Slinger, etc) can use their powers, unlike the garbage that I mentioned.

On a side note, the one thing I have a bit of trouble with on Eyrie was the ramps having no railings inside the main building. I sadly admit I’ve fallen off that second floor and messed up a chase a few times.

New Old Ormond? It's the new current Ormond. A gigantic map with a strong central structure for survivors to loop in/around. Oops, my bad, I just described Mother's Dwelling. Wait, I mean Temple of Purgation. Wait, I mean groaning storehouse. Wait, I mean Ironworks of Misery. Wait, I mean Father Campbel's chapel. Wait, I mean Disturbed Ward.
