The idea behind the Snowmen should be permanent part of the game
I love being able to hide in a snowman. While they're not the most discreet place to hide, it's nice to finally have something added to the game that encourages stealth play. I think it would make the game more fun if Behaviour would introduce more objects that survivors could hide in.
I understand that many people frown upon stealth gameplay, I don't think it should be completely left in the dust. There are plenty of people who prefer to sneak around and get a thrill out of evading the killer right under their noses. The game should also cater to more than one play style otherwise it would just be boring.
The one thing I would change is that killers who attack the object should be able to instantly damage the survivor hiding in it with their attack. It shouldn't work as it does now, where the survivor can escape unscathed.

Wouldn't mind the idea if it comes with injury when attacked, killer should definitely be rewarded if they catch you hiding like lockers do.

They really just need to fix the way they break certain Killer powers like victor and Ghostface. Aside from that the only change I'd want outside of aesthetics is giving killers a 50%, maximum, cooldown on breaking it. Doesn't even need to hurt the survivor due to the frequency survivors cock up jumping in them.

maybe a giant bush or something that can be dropped from offerings

The thought of a bush moving around instantly charms me. Yes please.
The only thing that could be better than that would be a cardboard box.

No, I want a full on permanent bush cosmetic for Claudette. It is my dream cosmetic!
But I'll settle for a offering 😒

Oh man...if we ever had Solid Snake or Big Boss as a survivor we would totally need an event for it featuring cardboard boxes

Hell no, I'd like to play Twins few more times without wanting to kill myself.

Would love for this to be permanent so we can have new perk types and also add some conditions for Snowman
Healing Snowman: Being 15 meters around the killer in a Snowman for 10 seconds heals you a health state
Calm Spirit: Don't Disturb crows and the shaking inside a snowman decreases (I like the lore implication that the snowman are sentient, adds disturbing horror to the game. Also gives a little effect to a bad perk to hopefully make it better)
Hardened Snowman: Leaving a Snowman doesn't destroy it. It's presence inspires everyone to work harder, survivors within 15 meters gain a 5% action boost.
Fire Up: At 5 tokens Snowman within 10 meters melt
Stuff like that, except maybe not these are probably either too weak or too strong.

Yeah, used for stealth plays they are awsome. They shouldn't be used to tank a hit though, like lockers they should be risky and allow to get hit while inside.

This would render lockers useless lol

I'm not a fan of my teammates hiding all game, but I would love to see BHVR implement more interactables that encourage different play styles.
I think my issue with my teammates hiding largely stems from how bad of a strategy it is at present. Despite its many perks, DBD doesn't offer survivors much in the way of gameplay variety.

With some adjustments sure. They shouldn’t be a third health state and shouldn’t screw over certain killers…
Also, add the pumpkins as well. I liked those.
make the snowman/pumpkins their event skins and give them generic skins as well.
i do think events shouldn’t introduce new mechanics when the base game is in dire need of those. Events should be skins for various things in game, login rewards, earnable cosmetics, event tomes etc.

I liked the pumpkins too! Sometimes I'd drop survivors in front of pumpkins if I was feeling nice, and they were hilarious gambles to kick mid-chase. And they were the kings of making the 2-minute EGC countdown not feel like a waste of time.
I think new mechanics for events are great, though, and I'd like to see more of them. They make great test beds if nothing else, and they shake things up and help make the gameplay actually feel like an event.

If they would be actually used as testing grounds for mechanics that may be introduced later I would be fine with them and I also like the shake up and all.. but this way it feels like there are way too many resources put into the new mechanics (Snowmen, pumpkins, pustula flowers, gnomes and lanterns) that are then just dismissed and maybe never seen again..

They wouldn't be able to be used in order to tank a hit. They would only disguise survivors, so Victors pounce would cause him to latch on to them and not give them a free kick.

Hey, I am fine with that. It has good meme potencial.
I have a rule that if you make me laugh, you get out.

I wanted to say this exact piece, and then saw the very first answer to this thread. I wouldn't mind some places for survivors to hide and encourage a more stealthy approach instead of "hold W and/or M1", but the tanking hits thing would have to go.
