Are we at the point where any killer becomes uncommon to see?
Simply because there’s so many of them your bound to see less and less of a killer. Not because they’re weak or unenjoyable simply because there’s so many killers.

That's just straight up not true we don't see a lot of some killers because they are weak
How many Billy's did we see before the rework
How many do we see now
How many Freddy's before the rework
How many now
How many deathslingers before the nerfs
How many now

People were saying that after few months of MMR we will only see 3 killers.
And look now, few months after MMR and we only see 5 killers so those people were wrong after all

Any killer? No.
Any killer that isn't Nurse, Blight, Huntress and Bubba? Yes.

I've always judged rare killers relative to how often I see any given non-meta killer, so... yes? But not in a way that makes it impossible to tell who's the least loved. There's just more variance in the bracket of people who aren't playing S or high A tier killers.

been playing since 1.0.0 and maybe been a killer main since 1.0.6 and I am leaving the role so hard, barely play killer now and even less solo survivor, when a friend of mine play I play with them but it ends there, killer because too stressing and sweaty.

It wasn't hard to predict this. Most killer players, especially killer mains, were saying this months ago seeing the mmr & intro of boons coming. Personally I'm finally committing myself to learn nurse. I've wanted to for a while but i had a PS4. I got my hands on the 5 so 99% less frame rate drops which means nurse feels viable. now i just need to get like 1k hours on her to be good.

At low to intermediate MMRs, you'll see an okay variety. The higher MMR you are, the more Blights, Huntresses and to a lesser extent Nurses and camping Bubbas you'll see.
Hag will always be rare because of her unique playstyle.
Demo will always be exceedingly rare because he's no longer available and also has a weird kit.
Pinhead, Billy, Slinger, Pig, Ghostface and a few others are rare because they either have one or two massive flaws/weaknesses or are just clunky to play.

Low variety is what happens when the devs nerf any killer except for the current best killers whenever they start doing a bit too good.
Killer players who want to win games are going to pick killers that perform the best over those that don't.

Doesnt it make sense?
Its like going on some car racing competition with a bicycle.
BHVR can nerf completely all the perks, downgrade all killers for a tier or two. But at the end, day will honestly have to implement trapper AI from tutorial, as killer community will shrink even more
Everybody wants to win. Either by killing or surviving.
Maybe there are a few exceptions. But which game either SP or MP you play without having a goal to win?
“Yeah ill (re)play this mission over and over again, its about fun and not completing it”.

Well that's most competitive games for you. People tend to stick with meta killers more because they want to win.

It's not just nerfs to power. Addons are a huge part of what keeps playing a killer 'fresh', and when your killer has insanely boring or useless addons it makes them feel stale. Artist, Freddy and PH are the first ones that come to mind - I enjoy 2 of these 3, but I get bored of them fast.
I haven't seen a Cenobite since their addons were gutted.
Which is why you need to shake up the meta a bit from time to time. Artist came...close. If she had more interesting/powerful addon options, she could have been fantastic.

Games that constantly shake the meta can be annoying. Since you constantly have to pay money or grind. They should let it happen naturally. Like Thrill of the hunt should have became meta with boon perks. However they nerfed by making it so you can no longer see survivlrs working on totems.
