Why dont DC's count as kills?
I think we all know that survivors typically DC to "steal" a kill.
I never really care if I already have my BBQ stack. At that point its really just extra "Quitter Bonus" points for me.
Its only an issue for me for specific challenges. Kill X players while using Y, etc.
I just went against a bully squad. But as soon as they realised I wasnt falling for the typical tricks they all DC'd on their 3rd down.
I dont care if they cant play for 5mins - I just want my challenge progress...

Oh yeah. DCs should count as kills, and trigger any and all on-hook perks, as if the Survivors was hooked for their death hook.
BTW; whatever happened to the 'Husk' system? Where quitters leave behind bodies Killers can hook & Survivors can unhook? Did the devs just give up on that?

Just replace the DCer with a bot.
Or, failing that, at least have the Entity kill them like in Endgame Collapse. It's not hard.

Just had games where i really thought if this Dwight could be a bot... his name was also Temp-........
And yes, DC should be a kill.

If someone DCs they should basically stay afk or replaced with bots imo

The bots from the tutorial are very well designed! They do more gens than most of my team does... Could be a good solution! I would still settle for challenge/achievement/perk progress...

You already get free kills without earning them with End Game Collapse :)

If Killers can keep you on the map long enough for EGC to kill you; they more than earned it. :)

They're not kills. They're incomplete sacrifices because of the DC.

Like every other problem that's been plaguing the game for years they still have no idea what to do about it. any previous solution they've hinted at they probably tried but weren't able to get it work because DbD is such a well designed game and bhvr is such a competent game developer
