Michael Myers one hit finisher without hooking first is just ridiculous.

I don't know how he does it exactly but I have now been to several games where Myers just reaches lvl III Stalk and simply finishes survivors instantly without even having to hook them first. In what way is that balanced or fair to survivors.

Correct me if I have understood his power wrong, but the way I see it, letting killer finish survivors with one hit K.O without hooking them at all is just downright wrong. It's not like it's even hard to achieve for him.

Myers can instadown, yes, but after wasting his time stalking, looking at survs while holding m2, which slows him down. Then after he's tiered up twice(when you hear his theme), he gets a minute of instadowns, afterwards he falls down to t2 and has to stalk up to tier 3 again. and of course, because BHVR, his power has a hard limit, as survivors only have a finite pool of "stalk". so a Myers that's gotten tier 3 before a hook has wasted a lot of his resources just to get an early down. To counter this, block LoS, he cant do anything, but chase as normal. A Myers will trade stalking you for a hit on occasion.

Also just a side-note, i'm guessing you DESPISE Billy

@Keezo He's talking about the tombstone addons, not the base instadown.

@Sunbreaker7 It's a Very Rare and Ultra Rare add on that allows this. Both add-ons greatly increase the time required to reach Evil 3. There are ways to get around it. Hiding while he's in Evil 3 is the best way, but you can also jump in a locker (which will make him grab you instead of kill you).

Yes, I was indeed talking about the addons, not his normal ability. I still think this addon is way overpowered and should not exist, but that's just my opinion.

I clearly need to try the addons and see this to myself once I get those addons from the bloodweb... Until then, I refuse to believe it is really as hard as people say it is considering what I have seen as as a survivor when playing against these Myers who have them ^^

Yeah you get such a huge penalty and it takes so long to get tier 3 with those addons that at that point if you are hit with it no one is to be blamed but you and your team, its hardly overpowered. Iri head yes, tombstone myers eh.

It takes him a long time to reach tier 3 with those add-ons and he is slowed down, so you can just rush the gens. If he reaches tier 3 before the gates are powered, it’s because you or your teammates fed Michael or didn’t do gens quick enough. Hiding in a locker will prevent him from actually killing you and he’ll put you on his shoulder like normal instead.

I would counter his tombstone choice by rushing generators. If he is able to do that, you need to escape asap to avoid feeding him.

Tombstone Piece has some merit to it, but Judith's Tombstone is just awful.

For no reason, Myers addons are the OP of the OP of the OP... i ask myself if there is something in the copyrights contract about making him that strong, cause no other killer gets near to addons of Myer. They are just ridiculously overhelming!!!

Eternal instadown with no counter? Yes.

Insta Mori without even having to down? Yes.

Aura reading for all match all the time? Yes.

    So... point made.

I just played a nearly flawless game, 4 hook saves, I did 3 gens on my own, I was never downed or even injured, yet Mikey caught up to me ONCE and I was dead

It's fair compared to his weak basekit, for being one of the weakest killer in the game its a good balance that you can just execute everyone, for looking down on myers so much.

Tombstone is nice but, not that strong it takes awhile to get and you only get 2 uses of tier basically unless you have the turf hair addon (I think that's what it's called anyway).

Also it kinda gives a little more "character" to Myers being in this realm The Entity controls him however he can break free from that control with tombstone as The Entity needs the sacrifices but, Myers just kills them on his own so The Entity gets nothing from him.

I don't think he is controlled. Myers kills for the Entity just because he wants to. He is Shape of Evil. He is just pure evil itself. And Entity has no formal control of him. That's why he often breaks the rules, killing by himself and doing no sacrifices. Possibly he can even escape from Entity or in some way damage it, but he just has no reason for this.

I tend to let a Myers get a 4K if running both Iri add ons(hair and tombstone) it’s an investment to make that happen. Plus they might not have the achievement.

Yo, happened to me as well.

Pretty scaring when you have such a chill game and get grabbed on first chase.

But yes, very rare - don´t need to be changed.

Well to put it in simple maths. There are 40.4 stalk points in each game, evenly divided amongst the survivors. So that means each survivor is worth 10.1 'stalk'. It takes Myers 5 stalk points to ascend to the next tier. So normally this means a myers, assuming full stalk, will get about 7 tier 3s over the course of an entire match. (5 for tier 1-2, then 35 remaining for 2-3.) However with the full tombstone AND fragrant tuft of hair adds 400% stalk to reach tier 3. That means in order to get to tier 3 you must consume roughly 30 stalk points, 5 for tier 1-2 and then 25 for tier 2 to 3. So a myers must stalk roughly 74% of all points in the match in order to get the instant kill, perma tier 3.

Tombstone piece on the other hand only increases the stalk required to get to tier 3 by 150%, however this is permanent. So for every tier 2 to 3 that a tombstone piece gets, it costs roughly 12.5 stalk. Just barely enough stalk for 3 tier 3s, and once the myers uses the tombstone piece it automatically consumes 10 stalk (or drops myers down to empty tier 2, whichever is accomplished first.) The drawback of the Piece can also never be overwritten by the fragrant tuft of hair, it will always consume 10 stalk.

funny because he's still the worst killer in the game

  • ShamelessPigMain

It does end up taking a lot of time to stalk, which makes it pretty "meh" if you want to win the game, but for the survivors that it catches, yes, it's very annoying. It's just not gamebreaking.

it's there because he was the first licensed killer, so they wanted to make him intentionally OP. It's been nerfed a few times, but it's still in there I guess because it was sort of a signature for him (and there's an achievement tied to it). Honestly I'd be fine if it went away. It's super un-fun to go up against, and feels like cheating to do it. :)

Myers is garbage without it, and mediocre with it. It's the same as a Clown with Pinky Finger

it takes forever to reach tier 3. By the time you do, game's almost done.

I was pseudo-chasing/stalking for a while, with survivors tbagging and whatnot before I could get a kill. Then I managed to get another one.

And for some reason, as the gates were opened and I was just standing there watching the last 2 leave, one of them came to me, doing nods and tbags…until I reached t3 again and killed him too…tots on him

Yeah I agree. It’s really unfair and makes the game so boring. It gets me so mad like how is that suppose to be fair and make you enjoy the game?
