I don't blame the killer for leaving, I probably would too.
Yeah I know, I was running a pretty generic build with DH, BT, DS, and unbreakable.

Before anyone chimes in - yes, grades are not reflective of matchmaking, but 4 Iri 1 survivors versus a Silver 2 killer does suggest that something is a bit squiffy.
I'm not sure whether this killer is new or prestiged, but not having all your perks against that squad...oof. Yeah, it's discouraging.
Hopefully the midpatch tweaks some things. The last one was really great.

Killer was pretty chill in post game chat, just hit level 50, still hasn't unlocked more than 3 pages of perks yet.
1 -
I think what probably happened was that a low MMR killer had a long queue, a group of high level survivors had a long queue and SBMM pooped the sheets.
4 -
Actually it seems like it's if survivors are in extended q times it just throws mmr right out the widow and you just get whatever killer Is available. I only say this because when I get on my killer q is like 8 seconds before I'm in a lobby with 4 people.

Ranks don't really matter any more... you know that right?
I've seen some pretty headless rank 1 survivors running around and real pro silver 3s carrying the game.
Just because a red emblem with a stick in the middle is there doesn't mean that they're good. Don't be intimidated.
8 -
Oh the ranks aren't the issue here, it's the fact MMR put a killer with literally a cobbled together half-baked build out of necessity against survivors that literally had them beat in hours by magnitudes.
3 -
They don't, but they do demonstrate a certain familiarity with the game, especially a whole team of Iri 1.
Looking at it in context, with the perks, this was the sort of ridiculous matchup you'd see under ranks.
4 -
But that's my point. Ranks aren't a good source of medium since they reset every 13th of the month. Checking their played hours would be better since that accumulates regardless of any scheduled resets.
I mean, unless this was a 4 man SWF, I understand some of their perk choices (like picking borrowed time), but seeing Sabo is quite rare and same goes for breakout. I hate Dead Hard so I don't blame the killer for that, but they literally had no good items or any effective offerings.
and the worst part is, the OP deliberately cut out the most crucial part which could've provided some context on whether they escaped or not.
I don't get what this screenshot is supposed to point out.

I'm seeing a lot of sabo recently. A few big names did videos where they demonstrated certain spots on some maps (Eyrie tends to be the most common, but you can do it on Midwich, Badham, Haddonfield and Pantry with certain hook spawns) where a single sabo can turn an entire area into a completely unhookable deadzone permanently.
It's crazy broken when abused and when paired with other perks (Breakout, Exponential etc) can be used to basically take a match hostage and meme on the killer until they go AFK or DC. Breakout makes me think this is the likely idea.

I'm not here to ask for a perk's relevancy. I asked for clarification on how a single screenshot that provides no context whatsoever can bring any meaningful conversation to the table.
I repeat:
and the worst part is, the OP deliberately cut out the most crucial part which could've provided some context on whether they escaped or not.

Yes, I'd be curious about that too.
What I was saying is that the impression I got from that loadout was that this was a specialized bully/stall comp.
0 -
Well, I understand that and I totally agree.
But looking at this picture alone, the killer/OP could've stomped on all of them and just cut out the part so that it looks as if he/she was bullied. As far as I'm concerned, this hold no value nor does it provide any evidence that this particular match was victorious for the survivors.
I can't feel sympathy for someone who keeps the most important parts undisclosed and yet states that killers are getting the shaft. Sorry.
4 -
If you read the second post that say they are not sure if it was a new killer so he was probably one of the survivors.

No reason to leave high mmr games, it will end in less than 5 minutes unless you decided you wanted out before the first minute passed...

"Deliberately Cut Out"
Mentions in title the killer left the match
I'll just have to remember not to crop off showing the killer with 0 points just to ratify your privilege.

I never really understood the devs saying that rank was an indicator of time playing the game and not an indicator of skill. That might be true to a certain degree, but like, if you've been playing the game for a long enough time to hit red ranks, and you aren't getting more skilled at the game from having played that long, then, uh, I don't know what to say.

So pretty much what I was able to observe from the game was that I was a solo PC player, the other three were a console SWF. One of them was a dedicated perk design to harass the killer being able to make a hook, that's why we see sabbo, MoM, and breakout, not always a great build but when they reliably know they can retreat to a boon totem it becomes much easier to keep harassing the killer, you see the down you position yourself nearest a hook, break the hook you see the killer approaching and generally from this point on breakout will guarantee the drop as they try move to a new hook.

I figure it would of been a bit rude of me to post the killer's profile but since everyone seems to be wondering yes there was a large gap in hours played at least from what I could tell on my part at the very least since 3 were console. I have about 800 hours, the killer had about 200.

You see what you want to see. I think what the OP implied is very obvious. Not every single post needs 12 pages of debate and discussion.

This is the problem with SBMM - survivors had some rough games while that killer had some good games so now they're put together to get to that goal of 2e/2k average. There needs to be more nuance to make fair matches instead of this you had good matches so here's one for you to get destroyed and vice versa.
While it was would be nice for perks to be included in matchmaking they would need to have players load outs locked in when they start searching for a match. They would also need to have everyone just load into the match instead of having a match lobby to avoid killers dodging because the load out they chose has nothing to counter items OR they made a loadout to counter items but the survivors don't have any items equipped.

That huntress had a pretty strong build and add ons. It’s safe to say that survivors in that killers grade got demolished causing his/her SBMM to go up

It happened again today XD
I know the devs admitted they wanted the game to feel better for Solo queue players but this is ridiculous. lol
Killer was a real trooper this time though, stuck it out for haddonfield.

I dont think anyone should "leave" aka dc just because they're losing.

Well it's either that or go afk when it comes to bad matchups
