Why is the match making so AWFUL ?
what is the point in playing solo survivor ?
i'm constantly ranked vs good killers with beginner survivors that either hide in lockers or just stand infront of the killer or just D/C as soon as they get downed.
I just played a game with a guy that got downed instantly , i flash light saved and he just stood there and let the killer do it again then killed himself on hook.
waiting 10+ minutes for a game just for it to be over in 5 minutes because of this :/ getting beyond sick of it.

idk I used to have a ton of fun solo surviving … now that’s exactly what I see too. So now I only play if a few friends are on… which sucks because I love playing solo but not with people who are going to dc, hook suicide, crouch walk the maps corners, hide in lockers… I have no clue what’s happening… I hate that mmr is escapes and kills.. even if we could see our mmr it wouldn’t even matter since it doesn’t even represent skill in this type of game. Old emblem system did a better job and I had wayy better matches

Its just making me want to leave games most of the time, it's so frustrating waiting that long for a game to get team mates like this. Complete waste of time

What makes you think someone is a beginner if they DC or ragequit when they get downed?

MMR hell. The rank system is so over simplified that once you get stuck in the lower ranks you can't get out. Contrary to popular belief this is a 4v1 game that requires the team to escape, and not a 1v1 like survivors are demanding it be balanced around.
If nobody does gens and goes down in 5 seconds then how are you supposed to escape out the gates? The hatch gets you nothing towards mmr now thanks to noobs just hiding in a locker with a key all game..

Because of MMR not actually being MMR. MMR is based on escapes/kills and nothing else, not skill which it what it should be based on.

I just wish that killer SBMM took individual killer MMR into account more. A person who is good with one survivor will be good with all survivors since they play exactly the same. A person who is good with, say Huntress for example, will likely struggle playing The Pig since they have completely different playstyles. I though SBBM was going to make it easier to learn the killers I'm bad with, but it made that so much harder instead.

I just came back after a few years off the game. One day of playing and I'm already vs rank one survivors. I'm rusty as hell and I'm trying to play the new killers so I have trash perks. I would hope after getting slaughtered eventually this will cease to happen

It has been dreadful. 3600 hrs and I'm being matched with fresh accounts who don't even have their Steam profile set up. No point in playing.
