How to improve survivor games?

So for about 2 months now every survivor game i've had is worst than the last and i dont know how to fix it. I havn't had a single game as survivor where things went better than the game prior. Its at the point where the last 15 games havn't had a single survivor getting out. Games getting harder the more you lose makes no sense but it just keeps getting worse and worse. Mmr seems to be working for my skill level for killer, but I cannot figure out how to make things better as survivor. Its at the point where, although i'm really excited for the ring chapter, it'll probably be the first expansion in dbd ever that i wont buy because I cant figure out how to have fun in the new system they created.

Lower MMR for survivor is worse than high MMR because chances are you’re getting potato teammates a lot. Killers are overpowered at lower levels.

My issue is the opposite, i keep getting put with survivors and killers miles above me, its clear i'm the survivors punishment for winning too much lol, but it leads to consistently bad games for me

That's a very good sign killers are too OP.

A tip for either side when they're learning: learn to flex your expectations. Don't go for the 'win' the game sets for you, pick out a personal challenge, make an entire build for it, and let that be a win for you - then do it all again in the next game.
Individually hone certain aspects of the game: a Breakout Sabo build, a CoH medstation build, a Lithe chase build, a CF/SG totem hunter build, all without expecting escape. It'll help cement some instincts that can carry you through the possibility that you've hit the MMR death spiral.
