When are Behaviour going to do something about these hackers?
I'm sick and tired of this surge of hackers in DBD. If I turn off crossplay, I'm waiting 5 hours. If I keep crossplay on, it's hackers non stop. If I quit, I get a dc penalty. If I don't quit, they hold the game hostage and force me to quit!

when they will get a different anti cheat or easy anti cheat make major change to their program

Nope. They simply do not care, this game is purely about money for them. They lied about SBMM and it taking years to make, despite it literally just being sacrifices and escapes. A child could have made it in a week.
Now thanks to their brilliantly made SBMM system, cheaters ("hacker" is far too generous of a term for them) just boost their MMR to a high level so they can ruin the game for people who play DBD a lot.
Their SBMM is bad, their anti cheat is bad, and both of these issues merge with each other and result in the game being nearly unplayable at times.
And NONE of it will be fixed because BHVR is both lazy and FAR too prideful to admit their mistakes and correct them.
You are a wallet to them, so either pay up or piss off. They don't value you or respect you in any way, you are a dollar sign, nothing more.
Happy new year.

I'm talking about hackers I'm general mate. It doesn't matter which side. This isn't about killers vs survivors

Yeah I stopped playing for a month, came back and within 5 games 2 hackers and I haven't played in another 20odd days.
Kinda stupid tbh. I use to play this game daily since its release and ever since crossplay and mmr iv been playing less and less.

Honestly everything was a lot better before crossplay. If crossplay didn't come to this game, console players wouldn't have to choose between hackers and 5 hour wait times

When are you guys going to accept that it's not hackers, you just got outplayed? Currently at over 300 hours on PC and never seen an obvious hacker. Certainly not this hackfest you claim.

I've seen a couple, and I don't play as much as I used too.
I've had Survivors literally nascar across the map after being Downed. I've had Survivors infinitely get off of being hooked; never hit stage 2. I've had Survivors insta-heal themselves and others non-stop.
Just because it does not happen to you does not mean it's not happening to others.

I'm pretty sure Infinite firecrackers, dead hards into dead hards, Infinite blinding and hooking themselves outside the map to hold the game hostage and force you to quit and get a dc penalty isn't outplayed... It's blatant hacking

It's always funny to see the inexperienced get haughty.

I never said there aren't hackers. I'm saying statements like "If I keep crossplay on, it's hackers non stop" are blatantly false.

You understand that 300 hours is a. nothing and b. probably not enough to have you experience the higher tiers of play, right?
I get a hacker a day, on average, there's streamers getting hackers (if a bit clustered) every other game live on Twitch, there's droves of videos discussing and detailing the rampant issue - your experience is your experience, and I'm glad you've not been experiencing blatant hackers. Your experience is not, however, necessarily representative of the experience of others, and your opinion/perspective is a subjective one.

I don't know why you keep acting like hackers only appear to the the top 1% echelon of players, or that this game is so complex that 300 hours isn't enough to know how to play the game well. Maybe the game is difficult to you, bub, but don't project your inadequacies on me. You claim my experience is invalid yet yours is somehow. Keep playing the elitist. Your arguments are full of logical fallacies.
Until someone actually wants to show some cold hard statistics, we're all just arguing with anecdotes. And my anecdote is that console players, regardless of the game, like to blame crossplay and PC hackers for their losses more than they like to accept defeat. In reality, the hacker problem is a much smaller issue. It's a loser mentality and you'll never improve yourself with it holding you back.

Maybe false for you.

Fr. Have you seen TUR Jay? He's getting full on harassed by hackers

I've been playing for 5 years mate. I haven't had a hacker until I came back after a break and now they are everywhere. It's not about winning or losing, it's about getting held hostage in a game and being unable to dc because there's a hacker.

I can name one hacker who has a whole tiktok of hacking clips but apparently I'm not allowed to name and shame even though he's a clear hacker with a whole account of proof. He apparently hasn't even bought the game or any of the dlc. Yet he uses bubba and Jonah

I've noticed an increase in blatant cheats being used. Like the match I loaded into with a Hag that literally was flying around the map at light speed. She downed everyone and left us to bleed out. 2 people d/c'd, I had to wait the full 4 mins because I didnt want a penalty.
Just the other day A killer (Ghostface) and survivor were working together to catch me. My friend that I was playing with had been long sacrificed, and I was being really elusive. Suddenly they both disconnected at the exact same time, and my friend and I both had identical 30 minute penalties even though neither of us d/c'd. Not sure if that was a hack, but it was pretty bizarre.
On the survivor side, I was in a match and this Jake had instant heals. He picked me up from being slugged in about 2 seconds. It wasn't For the People. And he was just tapping everyone who was slugged to almost immediately pick them up (match against Twins and the Killer was trying to slug everyone repeatedly).
The flying Hag was something else though.

They've allowed cheating to go about virtually unpunished for years. Often giving excuses as to why they just can't possibly do anything about the cheating. Not sure why you would expect things to change now. The only "cheating" they could ever stop was mods because it impacted the ability to sell over priced Feng skins. It's been 5 years and people are still using comms to give themselves free perks, stretched res to reveal ghost face from behind safety, equalizers so they can hear Dwight breathing 500 miles away, filters so they can see Claudette a mile away etc. All of these methods of cheating still exist so why would you think they could handle people using cheat programs?

Speaking nothing but facts, couldn't have said this better myself.
