About Clown's proposed addon changes...
So I read through both of the update articles and one thing in particular had caught my eye. Clown is getting two of his addons nerfed and two of his addons buffed.
I think the buffs to Solvent Jug and Robin Feather are okay. Red Head's Pinky Finger is getting nerfed, which is reasonable considering it paired with Cheap Gin Bottle is a bit too strong. But then I read that Flask Of Bleach is getting nerfed.
I just want to know what the problem is with this addon. It isn't that strong, so why on Earth is it getting nerfed?

Their data says it's used more than the rest of his add-ons so it must be op.
Same with nemesis and Marvin's blood.

It's used more than his other addons because it's one of the few good addons he has. (The same thing applies to Nemesis and his addons)
I think it's kind of silly to nerf something just because it's used too much.

This is why statistics should be handled by a statistician and not game developers.

I feel like it's their way of trying to get you to use the other add-ons. But what they don't understand is that most of the other add-ons are terrible

You have to remember this is BHVR rational thinking doesn't apply here only STATS.

They don't realize that people aren't using the other addons because the numbers are low they are not using them because the effects them self suck.
Nemesis iri add on seems like a good buff but realistically how many times is it going to activate? 2-3 times max if gens pop back to back its not like it stack. Plus 50% of the time when it does a zombie will be looking at a tree or rock.

To me.. literally the addons are about 90% Bad and 10% Good..
There isn't a between, Tbh... Flask of bleach didn't need a nerf.. lol

I just noticed something...
They buffed Solvent Jug to be 2 seconds of longer invigorate... but... Garish Makeup Kit already does that, is 2 steps higher in rarity and... isn't getting buffed? What?

I mean there's always a chance that it'll be buffed in the official PTB patch notes... but like... why would the Dev Update have some of the Clown Changes but not all of them?

they didn't say anything about setting a maximum bottle count of 2, they merely "reduces bottle count by 2", which means that nothing will change lol most clowns will pair it with extra 2 bottles. thanks bhvr

When they buffed plague they changed on of her add ons and changed the movement speed from plus 7% to plus 4% and McLean one of the lead devs and choice makers back then said
" I didn't even realize we were nerfing it I thought it was always 4-5%"

But we're NEVER gonna get that. We are stuck with this because they are extremely stubborn and keep a steady flow of cash coming in, so why care, right?

They said the list didn’t include everything. But that was a good point aboutvthe Makeup addon.
