Masks for Buba
hello. I have all 4 exclusive masks open for the cannibal. for me, this is a huge individual collection of cosmetic items in the game, which I got with great difficulty. getting all four masks was very difficult, and it didn't take a single week.. much more. now you are planning to remove masks from the game. in return, you offer 6000 shards. but here's the problem - for Buba, nothing can be bought for rainbow shards. even for an ordinary character - I can only take something cheap.. and in order to get one good thing, I still need to earn (7200). don't you think it's unfair for rare and hard-won cosmetic items in the size of 4 pieces? another injustice is that someone has opened 1 mask, and will get the same 6k. at the same time, they will deprive me of 4 items - and give me the same 6k. it would be fair to have at least 6000 rainbow fragments for each mask (6k *4 = 24,000). or at least they would have given Golden Coins. in order for me to be able to buy cosmetic items for a leather face instead

i always saw them as just skins. 6k shards for collecting them all doesn't seem fair, but whatever at least its something.

These cosmetics were common rarity and earned just through playing the game. The value of these masks, were they purchasable from the Store, would be 3,600 shards (900*4). Therefore, you're getting an extra 2,400 shards just for having played the game.

Sorry you have to go through this friend. A lot of people are getting hurt by what's going on. I'm not much of a stream watcher so I'm out of the loop but I find it hard to believe someone got their feelings hurt playing his game.
I definitely think an increased compensation is in order.

Still they maybe should give auric cells instead. You cannot buy anything to him with shards.

I purchased the character, with real money, partially because of these skins. BHVR consistently removing access to content that I PAID FOR, with real money, is extremely tiresome. I feel defrauded. I want a refund on the hellraiser chapter, I want a refund on the leatherface paragraph, I want a refund on the stranger things chapter. These developers are incompetent and unconscionable.

it is impossible to buy anything from a cannibal for shards, since this is a licensed character. it would be fair if they at least gave gold coins.

auric cells are a net loss to their revenue + a cost through royalties. you did not buy these masks so they have no reason to do so

I bought a character that cointained those 4 cosmetics with real money and aurics.
They can also give me one of the 2 dresses, i think it is still fair.

I bought a character, with real money, that contained those cosmetics. It is a part of something i decided to pay with money and it is fair to give money back.
Otherwise also one of the 2 dresses would be fair.

it was possible to simply alter the masks so that they were not associated with the characters and did not offend anyone

I think this is quite difficult and problematic due to the lore and the overall situation. Removing the masks was better.

and honestly that's the solution i would've much preferred, but also that would be a mass opportunity cost to the business when removing them is the simplest solution to achieve the same result.

another big question is why someone opened only 1 mask, and someone opened all 4 ... and the compensation is the same for everyone?

Put me down in the category of they do not owe me anything, so anything at all is nice of them. It did take me a while to get the Jake ones, but then I never really played with it.
Also to some of the subsequent discussion, they should not give away licensed (auric cell only) cosmetics to make up for the masks. That is asking too much imo.
