Removal of Leatherface
I'm sure I am not alone here and I feel like a dead horse can't beat enough. I am just gonna go out and say it, the skins in the game are lackluster, for the most part. Many games have MTX skins etc to generate revenue I'm ok and supportive of this. I even buy skins from time to time, I have yet to buy a single skin on DBD, mostly because of the price and I don't find any of them to look outstanding. Not to mention you cant see the killers when you're physically playing the killer so those are really just to show off. You guys are removing the one skins that I thought were super interactive, hilarious, and cool. I don't understand this catering to "people" who feel "bullied" by a skin.
I know this isn't like an end all be all or even easy to read, I don't care. I made an account for the first time just to let you know that part of the community IS upset with the removal of these skins. I have been playing the game since the start and this is just ridiculous.

The mask(s) were used in racist attacks against, among others, PoC streamers. Removing them doesn't get rid of the racists but it takes away one of their "tools" and if they want to continue being racist they must do so more explicitly through user names or chat which makes it much easier to ban them.
It sucks to lose cosmetics but a toxic / racist game environment sucks a lot more.

There is no way to know that they aren't being banned. They most likely are. But until they are banned they can continue being harmful, new people can decide to start attacks. It's more efficient to prevent attacks from happening in the first place.

I'm not saying they're wrong because if people are really doing that it's a horrible thing, but people do stuff like that to people with TTV in their name all the time also, I'm not denying what they're saying that they get targeted it's awful and nobody deserves that but this won't stop them from still behaving that way in game if they see TTV and they're one of those people that goes out of the way to try and overly BM the TTV player, this change solves nothing really because at the end of the day a racist will be a racist and the game can't do anything to stop that behavior

but like if you want me to recount the stories of me staying up until 3am when i had school the next day trying to fix a relationship, or driving to my ex's house to make sure she was ok after a fall, or me calling the police on my friend after he threatened suicide, or helped perform cpr on someone while waiting for paramedics to arrive, i absolutely can give you all of them.

I just think that maybe taking steps to streamline the reporting system and taking action against people who are harassing POC would've been a better idea than removing a cosmetic that wasn't abused by 99.9% of people.
