BHVR, you should just remove The Twins if you ######### hate them.
I don't see a damn reason to nerf the least played killer in the whole game. Give them a QoL update not a ######### nerf.

Agreed. They took the most used addons and gave them a slight nerf, and like usual spiked the ones you will never run.

The idea of a killer which splits off into two is honestly the most interesting in the entire game.
Shame they're horrible bugged, awkward to use, and weak when you don't have Victor sitting under every hook.

It's honestly kind of incredible how every single update since, like, April has at least a small kick in the face involved for them. Since their release and subsequent immediate bugfixes, they went from janky but strong to just Absolute Suffering: The Experience, and they have not gotten a single meaningful bit of compensation to address their issues.
It's almost like BHVR's been roleplaying their backstory. Everyone hates them and wants them to suffer and Charlotte is doomed to a miserable existence where she loses everything she still loves, claws for every dwindling, meager scrap, and finally dies forgotten in the cold.

They did Deathslinger worse than Twins. Twins might be hard countered by every meta thing survivors do, but at least it's still fun to hit pounces with Victor. Deathslinger is utter trash walking around looking down a scope barely even able to move the sight

I agree never stop supporting and mentioning my beloved slinger

I totally agree. I like playing Twins, just wish they didn’t feel like ######### to play.

Deathslinger got nuked and lost everything good all at once. Twins is on a really slow, painful downward spiral where every time you think they can't get worse they get shat on again. It's like the old days that spawned the "nerf Pig" memes, but now it's Twins.

I played them three times for their Adept and was so confused on how they were supposed to do anything. With every other Killer, I could get some idea of how they could do good and what to do with them, but Twins baffled me. Am I really supposed to just camp all game with them? If so, then that's incredibly boring.

Why are we nerfing an average killer that nobody plays?
Like what possible reason is there? BHVR usually makes decisions based on data well the data says twins is average at best. Are we going off top players using them at max potential? Cuz Pixel, Lynxi, and Dowsey and all the other twins mains say they feel like absolute garbage to play and these are the people that actually liked them forget everyone else that wouldn't touch them if they were the only killer in the game. So what's the deal? I'm usually the last person to go all conspiracy on bhvr but it's hard for me to come to any conclusion other than they just wanna forget binding of kin ever happened.

Ha, Deathslinger has even lower kill rate. I wonder what is his kill rate now. Maybe higher, when there is only like 10 players who still plays him.

Hey so, Clown got nerfed, right?
Ans he has a 50% Kill Rate.
Ghostface has a 54% kill rate and Legion has a 55% kill rate....
Those changes they were talking about? I think they might be getting nerfed.

I was going to mention clown but they're making the solvent jug do what the make up kit already does so there has to be more for clown in the patch notes so I'll wait before I say anything. I don't think it will be anything good and the bleach nerf is totally unneeded but there is more we haven't seen yet.

The nerfs go like this: when there's a brown -> green killer addon that gets run in a high percentage of games, BHVR gets out the nerf hammer, because it must be overperforming. They also try to buff a couple of their higher rarity, less used addons alongside that, in an attempt to split addon usage among a more natural gradient. We saw that with most of the killer addon changes today.
What this often ignores is that the addons in question are either big QoL improvements for the killer and patch a hole that's otherwise left gaping, or all of their other addons are really situational and unappealing and giving them a numbers buff doesn't change that the effect is not good or universally helpful. These are almost always ill-conceived and unwanted changes as a result - nerfs to common addons people like in exchange for buffs to rare addons that nobody uses. Remember when the first thing they did when rebalancing Demo's addons was to nerf Rat Liver? At least they listened to the community outcry and actually fixed the issue that Rat Liver previously covered.
Nobody plays Twins, but the few that do use Victor move speed and ease-of-pounce, so this happened.

As a side note not sure what it says that something they made a purple they now feel comfortable making a yellow, did they rework clown thinking the yellow bottles were good? Cuz as of now they only reason to use them is with the cigar box so not sure what the thought process was there.

I get the feeling that they're perturbed people rarely use yellow bottles and they're trying to carrot-and-stick people into using them.
Yellow bottles aren't useless, but the purple bottles are on their own stronger, more straightforward, and less risky, and it's simpler for most players to stick with one (using both in one chase is rather advanced and the way yellow bottles work requires precision), so your average player is going to continue using purple-bottle-centric builds until BHVR really makes them immediately worthwhile. This addon tweak of weakening Bleach and Pinky Finger and strengthening Solvent Jug is... not that.

I'm at a loss as well, again. How can they do this?
