Disappointed that blight hasn’t been nerfed
I was really expecting for the blight to be toned down/reworked for this mid-chapter update but instead they actually buff adrenaline vial. The killer has been busted since release and he’s even more busted if you can J flick which the majority of blights do and shouldn’t even be a thing to be honest. But nope, another year with this busted killer.
EDIT: I have nothing against base blight, base blight is perfectly fine. I personally think he at least needs a small add-on rework and the ridiculous flicks need to be looked at as well. Hope that clears up any confusion.

Blight is extremely hard to play. If you're getting bodied by Blight, you're playing against some of the best players in the game.

I mean, I know other people on these forums, and some real life friends who think he’s busted. Not the power itself but the add-ons and the flicks that should not be realistically possible. In other words, I don’t have a problem with base blight but he’s been known to be top 3 or top 5 in this game which is fine but look at it this way, Nurse is the strongest killer in this game even with the add- on changes a while ago, spirit is arguably the 2nd or 3rd best killer in the game who also received an add-on rework, so why is blight left untouched?

Oh well I can agree on add ons being busted but if that’s what you were referring to then you should’ve addressed that in your original post. It sounded like you wanted base Blight nerfed.

Some of his addons need to be toned down a bit. That's it. Blight at base is not op, he is arguably the most balanced killer in the game for high level play.

I've been playing killer for years and Blight is one of the hardest killers to master. Maybe you wouldn't see so many if the other M1 killers didn't suck so much ass.

Whenever a flick is discovered it's patched out almost immediately. Though some are obviously cheats, like the flick where you're messing with your network is obviously cheating. (Note I don't know anything about this really, I only heard about it from OhTofu once)

i have 3000 hours as main killer and i can only 1 or 2 hook with blight. Really too hard to play. You're right, if blight hitting you, you playing some of best players in the game

Hear hear! it's infuriating that when you manage to dodge all 4 rush hits, and he hit you with the last, he gets to rush back instantly. It's about the same level of frustration going against pre-nerfed spirit.

Addons ARE supposed to be strong,to make your power better,and to change the gameplay,Blight is cool because hes balanced and has a lot of addons that change how you play (Alch Ring,CP33,CP21,Vigo's Journal,Blighted Tag,just like Myers (both Tombstone's,both Mirros,Tuft of Hair) etc...

Basekit Blight is fine. It's when he uses certain perks/addons that he becomes a bit too powerful.

Blight is pretty perfect design but yeah I don't know how Alch Ring, C33, and Blighted Crow haven't been touched.

Blights base kit is fine, but some of his add ons need to be nerfed ie alchemist ring. Also mouse and keyboard exclusive techs need to be removed.

Blight is kind of like Nurse in my opinion. Hard to master but really powerful if you do. Still I don't think we need to be nerfing killers while powerful boons like circle of healing exist.

Told you before. Start playing as Blight yourself and next time you face him you will have much better time.
Since I understand how he works, what he can and cannot do, looping him is an actual option

I'd be fine with Blighted Crow if it didn't stack with the Rat.
I've honest to God never seen C33 at all, which is weird because it is good.
There is no justification for Alchemist's Ring, nuke it from orbit.

The Hindered effect isn't super meaningful, it's just it breaks stuff really fast.
Like, almost a half second faster than Brutal Strength. It's on par with full Fire Up + Brutal Strength and all he's gotta do is spend a single charge to break an object.

I'm a Blight main and has transitioned to playing Survivor 70% of the time. Blight is the best well designed the killer they made. Even the techs they are doing has a LOT of counter play and can be beaten by just holding W when they're spamming rushes on a wall. I do think some moonrushes could be looked at though.

@Pulsar perks idk if its worth to combine. But perk seems viable only inside of a the game.
@Myla I agree that most survivors lack of playing such killers before knowing how to counter it.
when blight humps car and go for hug. They stand and wait to get slapped.
Moonrush is viable here and there. All techs and flicks will not help you if you cannot manage the bump logic.
But then again, it would be nice to look into survivor wall clipping aswell

I am simply surprised at this point. This is another Chapter which features a change to Blight or his Add-Ons and AGAIN Alchemists Ring is not nerfed.
This Add-On is the one that should be clear. And every player who is not biased knows that Alchemists Ring is too strong.
Compound 33 and the Speed Add-Ons can be nerfed as well IMO. Even if those 4 Add-Ons would be nerfed or reworked, Blight would still be one of the strongest Killers.
EDIT: And I am pretty sure that nobody will touch Adrenaline Vile after the Buff anyway. It is still a really terrible Add-On.

pallet drop = m2 on cooldown
Flicks are easily countered. You can do sharp turns while he rushes = he will have to use bump logic. which can prolong cooldown in case of miss or loosing you in chase
Spinning 360 can prevent shoulder flick. As it requires prediction and reaction to side = cooldown
People who invest 3 digit hours in blight will hit majority of flicks.
I dont see any reason to nerf something that can be godlike or useless dependind on players skill. But then again I wouldnt be suprised as investing 3 digit hours into single killer is not rewarding but being punished for

Why the sarcasm? Is it that unbelievable that you can play Blight without Add-Ons? He is one of my go-to Killers for farming BPs, because I have 0 investment when playing him (because I dont use Add-Ons). Same with Nurse.
And obviously I dont go against Comp-Teams. Like 99,99% of the playerbase.

No, but for a fact, that apperantly more or less majority cannot mind game ur bump logic inside of tiles - LT. Where the pallet gym has an obvious death window. And afterall that ur not getting gen rushed is what makes me suprised. But since the mmr is such a mystery i will just wonder, are you godlike or i am horrible against babies

Blight is one of the best killers in game. True he takes a lot of practice to master and flicks are what makes him unique, also it takes a lot of practice to do a flick. I'm honestly a blight main myself and if they nerf him i'm quitting dbd, I draw the line at blight.
I honestly don't need add-ons to play blight as he's honestly a very fun killer that doesn't relay on add-ons that much. But I do like his add-ons and I do agree they need some work.
