Some healthy QOL Changes to Twins.

Just some quick buffs (and a couple nerfs) to Twins that I want to share, that would require barely extra work or coding because the mechanics are already in place and just need tweaking:

  1. Tap the primary power button to unbind Victor in front of you. Press and hold the primary power button to simultaneously unbind and take control of Victor.
  2. Tap the secondary power button to swap between characters. Press and hold the secondary power button to force Victor to die and respawn, swapping back to Charlotte if needed.
  3. Charlotte's waking time is now reduced to 1 second (from 3 seconds).
  4. You can swap between Charlotte and Victor during any action or cooldown (except hooking). If swapping during a channeled action, the character will complete and finish that action before going dormant.
  5. When a survivor is hooked, if Victor's current location would be invalid if one was trying to unbind him, then he will die and respawn.

Most of these changes are aimed at just removing how clunky it feels to play the Twins. Now if you want to drop off Victor to guard a gen or totem, you can just drop him and carry on.

If you want to finish off somebody as Victor, now you can swap back to Charlotte and instantly walk over to go hook them without sitting in 8 seconds of recovery.

And I nerfed Victor's camping ability, because I do want to promote healthier strategies to win in this game with Twins, and hopefully all the extra time saved with these tweaks can allow that for Twins.

Alright, that's all. I just want to shout out my ideas to whoever would listen. Probably not a game dev, but Save the Best for Last got reworked via community suggested feedback, so nothing is impossible.

    There's no reason I shouldn't be able pick Victor back up off the ground. Not sure why they didn't put it in in the first place.

    Those changes are pretty decent and would make Twins so much more enjoyable to play!

    Revert the attack cooldown to 3secs and instead add a respawn penalty, one suggestion I've seen that i like

    I'm personally in the "add ai to twins" camp myself

    These changes are great, but if you don't mind, I'm going to add a few changes that I'd want to see implemented:

    • Victor's successful Pounce cooldown is now 3 seconds long (down from 5 seconds)
    • Victor's unsuccessful Pounce cooldown is now 4 seconds long (up from 3 seconds)
    • If Victor gets kicked during the unsuccessful Pounce cooldown, his respawn will take 20 seconds (up from 6)
