Attention Killer Mains! Throw Your Pinky Fingers Up!
Make sure you use up all your pinky fingers before the mid-chapter! I've got 15 of them and 34 black wards on Clown. It's nothing but Pinky Finger Clown and Smartface Basement Bubba until the mid-chapter. You can even make more of a game of it. See how many DCs you can cause in one hour, and then in the next hour, try to break that record!

LOL. I will proxy camp near basement if a survivor is dumb enough to get downed by it and theres a gen or two in the area. That is the only place I don't allow free unhooks but face camping down there just sounds like a waste of life.

Eh, I might use the Smartface while it is still here. Might as well. Not like I am being compensated for having earned any of the masks. Using them only seems logical.

I never got them because I only play Bubba if I have double chili or chili and light chassis. I really should embrace the no addon lifestyle

I've never used pinky finger despite being a clown main. If I wanted to play an instadown killer then I'd play one.

and basement bubba is so boring, especially with smartface just to be a dick like... why would i voluntarily do that? that doesnt seem like any fun to me

I'm currently trying to use up all my 150 Alch Rings and something like 180 Crows on Blight in anticipation of their nerf one day.

I mean, this nerf isn't really going to change anything. Clowns can still use the +2 bottle add-on with pinky finger right? It's just like Iri Head Huntress all over again.

I think people are heavily overestimating how bad this Pinky Finger nerf will be.
It's just -2 Bottles, guys. You go from 5 to 3. You just can't spam your bottles as freely.

? Clown has 4 bottles by default, mate. So it's 4 to 2 now. I wish they would give one more bottle by default to compensate but that's too much to ask for those IRL clowns it seems.

Alright, I'll admit, I got the amount of Bottles wrong. I always thought he had 5 basekit.
But still, 2 Bottles is a fine amount for the buff that you get. You can literally secure a kill by facecamping no matter what is done by the survivors.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with them nerfing Pinky Finger.
It's just the fact that they compensate him for losing his best add-on

I don't like none of the pink/iridiscent broken addons of the killers (not all, only some of instadown ones), I almost don't use them, it's like an easy mode and I don't feel satisfaction with the kills. I only use them when I have a Mori daily for finishing the mission quickly and I still feel bad. Also when playing survivor and I face one of those addons I usually suicide in first hook.
The fingers will stay mostly untouched from my part. Also the second most broken pink addon is the clown pinky finger, the most broken was huntress iridiscent head and it was nerfed already, that kind of addons being nerfed is healthy for the game.

Why are they considered broken? For clown ,you have to aim the bottle directionally at the survivor and huntress has only one shot and still needs to aim it. I never could understand that with both perks that reward ######### up and being able to heal in the span of 2 seconds why is instadown stuff for killer considered broken?

Hitting a survivor directly with a bottle was easy, you only had to sitck to his back and throwing the bottle, of course you can miss, but you had 4 tries, now you have 2 and this is good, pinky fingers was the most busted instadown addon after huntress iri heads. There are still busted addons like some of Myers ones, but at least Myers is by far one of the weakest killers in the game.

The point is they need to aim in order for it to even work and for huntress Having only 1 ax is not busted at all. Yes, there are times where the killer gets them at point-blank range but nerfing the addons is not the way to do it since those are situational issues rather than the perk being broken especially when it seems it's more of a sense the survivor got outplayed rather than it being easy mode.
Same with NOED, Yes instadown perks and add-ons can be a problem for some people but unlike other issues the game has, these are lower on the bar than what needs to be fixed.

What's going on with Clown and Leatherface?

Clown is having two add-ons nerfed (I think it's Flask of Bleach, from 5% to 4% bonus hindered; and Redhead's Pinky Finger, which now reduces bottle count by 2) in return for 2 buffs (can't remember these).
Leatherface is having the collectable faces removed, and half the community had a meltdown at the news and has yet to recover.

I'm not mad about the Pink Finger nerf personally, because I never use it because I can't consistently hit people directly to save my life. (I am mad about the Bleach buff, though.) But Clown isn't a high-tier or popular character, and while I can understand why they nerfed Spirit (I don't like it, but I understand), this seems completely undeserved to just randomly take away one of the only addons that (other people think) makes him viable.

Clown's Pinky Finger nerf was probably because the add-on is pretty easy to use, so they wanted it to have some sort of downside -- it is the same logic as Iridescent Head, though applied to an add-on on a Killer that is objectively less powerful than Huntress. I do not mind the nerf, Clown didn't live off of Pinky Finger so this won't effect things at all IMO.
I do find it really funny that people are moaning about Leatherface's masks being removed, though. Sure, you can argue that the Dwight and Meg masks did not need to be removed, but Claudette's mask and, to an extent, Jake's mask needed to go given people started using them to be raging racists towards ethnic minorities, and BHVR simply chose to do away with all of them.
Oh and to the people moaning about how they "earned" these add-ons and Leatherface masks: Cope. Seriously, you got those by just playing, you did not perform some extraordinary feat to get any of the things that are being removed or nerfed this patch and the fact you are trying to upset as many people as possible while you still can just proves how shallow you really are.

All the clowns I saw who used pinky finger just ran up until it was near impossible to miss so they got an easy down so a reduction to bottles won't be much of a change.

I'll would sooner not play the game instead.
All playing in a way that ruins the fun for survivors has done in the past is get needless nerfs done to Killers we enjoy playing. If you are not enjoying the game speak more with your time and wallet. Also boycotts don't work in Killers favor.
