What recent moments have you had where you discovered something you didn't know before regarding DbD?
Mine was - 'there's a way to get Ruthless while not sacrificing any survivors on certain killers'.

You can get merciless on one killer without sacrficing a single survivor, thats why hes the best killer.

Honestly I haven't learned any in a while. I know all sorts of little things about the game. But I am pretty sure the last thing I learned was that if you are touching a wall as blight during a rush (rushing parallel to it) then you can sort of flick towards it to force a slam. Not really too interesting but something I have noticed.

I rarely play Killer, and didn't even played them all yet... But from my Survivor experience of getting lot of "free" Boldness BP...

Here's a random bit of trivia you might not be aware of
So facing Twins, if Charlotte downs you while Victor is on your back, he is recalled - right?
However if the survivor Victor is latched onto has endurance (From Mettle of Man) then when Charlotte hits them, Victor will remain on their back still

The buffed chatter's tooth is actually insane on indoor maps. You grab the box, get full location information on the survivors, then go collect a free hit to start your next chase.
I haven't experimented with too many add-on combinations yet but I feel like there is probably a way to cheese with it.
i.e. if a box spawns in a really bad location and you know it, you can just defend that area and keep chain hunts going forever.

At ash ranks Legion can get merciless without killing a single survivor.
All killers technically but it's much more doable with Legion
Edit: nvm, i lied. I know i had it in the past but that appears to have been a bug

I learned not that long ago (I've been playing for nearly two years) that The Nurse can't blink while they're being flashlight-blinded. Your blink won't charge until you're out of the stun. Considering how little Nurse I play, and the fact I never use flashlights (since I'm terrible with them), I'm not terribly surprised it took me nearly two years to figure this out.

really? how? I have tried many times trying to get merciless without sacrificing a single survivor, and I got the categories brutality, deviousness, hunting maxed out and death hooked everyone and only ever get ruthless. you're kidding, right?

If you wait about 5ish minutes in a lobby Ash will yell at you and tell you to hit the button

Sorry, apperently it isn't possible
I know i have had it in the past in ash ranks but looking at it now you apperently can only get 13 of the 14 emblems required if no survivor dies.
I don't know how i've had it in the past, probably a bug or a disconnect. but you can't get it without killing atleast 1 survivor

Whispers causes you to hear feint moaning and weird noises. Always thought it was just a thing on certain maps, never knowing the perk was making those sounds!

Today i learned that to damage a survivor with one activation of the Artist her ability you need to walk for about 6 seconds after placing your first crow before placing your second

A friend recently told me that, if you try to blind the kler by the doors and you get hit, you actually get dragged back inside, regardless of which direction you were going in.
I then saw it in a game and I found it hilarious.
Those trying to get that ind with the safety net of being by the gates lol

What can be even funnier is going through a wall, then hooking a survivor who's busy doing box from behind - then watching them panic.
