Do We Need More Events/Bloodhunts?

Especially over the weekend?

I'd say - yeah.

Hunts are just wonderful - they cut the utterly obnoxious BP grind in half and make even losing games rewarding. People bring out the streamers and, by and large, seem to be in a bit more of a pleasant mood.

Events can be a little wacky sometimes (Snowmen...argh) but they can be pretty fun. A valentines event could be interesting.

    Short answer: yes

    I mean, yes.

If there's more of them, we wouldn't be seeing obnoxious folks denying players who popped BPS points as much either, I think. It'd get dull for them too if it happened more often.

All events should have BP offerings like annivesary cakes or at least they should add Bloodhunt to all events or maybe event tomes like Halloween?

    Just look last 2 events:

Halloween - Event tome is good idea, i liked. So i did not get bored and they gave us 2 good cosmetics. This was best event of this year for me.

Winter Event - I opened all cosmetics first day and event died for me.

    Mm.

The snowmen were a cute idea for all of a few hours. Then it just became an annoying gimmick. Having an event mechanic that completely poops on killers and completely negates several killer powers was daft.

Yes. Since they are "working" on grind, at least a double BP weekend every month is the very least they could do.

Not to mention for new players

I am sure it was not good time to play Ghosty or Twins but i was fine with other killers. I did not mind so much.

Bloodhunts yes, the grind is awful and double BPs helps lessening it.

Events depend on what idea they come with.

We need perks to only have one rank or the overall amount of BP gained in-game to be increased, then have BP offerings removed to compensate, preferably a few months prior to use them up.

Honestly it's amazing to me that the more money you spend on this game to own killers and survivors, the more you are actively punished for purchasing the newest survivor/killer when you try to get the perks you want.

Not really, better leave them as something special and unique that comes out 1-2 times a year

    Shrug.

BHVR said they were removing perk tiers, which never actually happened. About 15 months ago if I recall. I'd love to know why.

I’ll never turn down extra events. I don’t particularly need lots of extra bloodpoints on top of what I already get though, I just buy a web or two per match and I’m good. (And when I get a new character or prestige I get them to level 15 to have four perk slots.)

What's your problem with the snowmen?

    They were fun!

I danced a lot in those

The Lunar New Year event is next month (and it runs through Valentines, so that isn't happening.) In the past, it had its own event-specific gameplay and earnable rewards, though more recent ones have just been generator reskins and bonus BP.

On the whole, though - yes. They're way too afraid of Bloodhunts.

    In my opinion; kinda?

But let me explain a bit more. I feel that we all need to receive more bloodpoints at the end of the match because of this reason.

There will be new survivors and killers in the future. I think most already know that we get the Ringu chapter. I don't know if we get a survivor but because of that, we need bloodpoints if you want her to get to prestige 3, get all her 3 unique perks or you want to unlock all the killer perks for her.

This is insane for new players because they have to start from scratch. Just imagine that for a second.

The 1-2 times they come in the year, they are rather bad/boring (the winter event, last years anniversary, this years Halloween was just à tome wasnt it?)

Back in the days we had many évents and Bloodhunts with double or triple BPs... yet we could still have à fiew monthes with nothing

Bloodhunts I believe we should be getting more of. I find it hilarious that the worse the grind has gotten, the fewer and fewer bloodhunts we see. However, for events, I honestly don't think we should. It feels like every single freaking event people are complaining about how they aren't good enough and cry for compensation. I don't think a community that isn't happy with the events they already have should be getting more.

    Yes and no.

I think events could be a little more frequent, because they spice things up. However I think they need to fix the grind more than just having more bloodhunts.

I'd rather events be focused around the content they provide and not just enjoying it because of extra bp.

I would like more events and bloodhunts and less chapters during a year.
