Lmao, not surprised that a legion main comes with this brain dead argument.
Internet has nothing to do with the performance and graphic quality.
All consoles are the same, if separate between xbox and ps4 (and their upgraded versions like ps4 pro).
I hope it's just a joke, otherwise it just proofs a point that only braindead people like Legion

The frame rate is absolute garbage. I'll hit someone and then they literally disappear cause the framerate just shuts down for a moment. God help me if I'm in the corn at the time...

Not possible since your account is linked to Sony.

People should just ascend to the PC Master Race and embrace the glory of high frame rates.

I wish they optimised it. I used to play on console and trust me, if you get good on console, when you come back to PC because of the amount of crap you've put up with, you'll be a god tier player in whatever side you play. Give it a few months on PC and you'll go bad compared to what you used to be like. It's really tough on Console with crappy FPS and you have to predict the skillchecks halfway before they're even near the bar and it's why console players can sometimes be extremely skilled or completely rubbish on PC.

Once they optimise console, I'll probably go back to it since I enjoyed Xbox a lot but the crappy FPS killed it for me.

I endure it because I only have bad FPS drops when I swing my weapon. Everything else (minus things like the Wraith+Sloppy bug) runs fine on my PS4.

It’s sad how everyone over-exaggerates about consoles FPS performance. It isn’t that bad.

If you play PC all the time, I can understand why you’re holding a high standard.

Definitely most of the time it’s just the killer having a ######### connection but even that happens on pc

Actually, I have invested into the Xbox One X and it's the equivalent to a PC. Perfect 60 FPS except on certain maps like Haddon Field. Nurse is actually playable believe or not but I cannot speak for those who don't have the most powerful console in the market.

What frustrates me is that my Xbox One X could probably run the game better than 99% of PC's out there. But since the game wasn't built for this platform I'm stuck with 30 FPS until the optimization patch comes out.

If you were triggered by that let me ask, can your PC run Gears 4 in 4k 60FPS?

    No? Didn't think so. Checkmate.

Yes? How much money did you dump into it? Probably like $2000 or something. I paid $500. Checkmate.

Hate to break it to you Nick, but even the X doesn't run the game at 60 FPS. It's locked to 30 FPS because they have to build for the lowest specs, which is the base Xbox. It does indeed run better than a normal Xbox, but frame drops are still a real issue.

We can't edit file to increase the FPS lock so we're stuck at 30 FPS. My apologies.

This so sad, I was so used to 15 FPS that 30 FPS feels like 60 FPS for me!

I play at 120fps on a 144hz monitor. There is no going back to 60fps let alone peasant 30fps. I would rather drink molten lead before play at 30 fps again.

You dont need anywhere near a $2000 computer to run 4k 60fps. Hell a midrange GTX 1060 can easily do 4k60 when you tinker with the settings. If you want to run 4k 60 with every single graphics setting turned to maximum is where it gets absurdly expensive and that is what PC elitists typically try and do but mid-range affordable hardware can do just as well if you compromise on graphical settings.

Console players should know by now that their hardware is literal years out of date and they'll never get the same performance or graphical fidelity (or support) for the long term.

To date, only a couple games I've really wanted to play have been console exclusives; everything else has released on PC or can be emulated.

I play on console and since I've only played like an hour on PC I barely see much difference nor have many complaints. I am aware of the differences, the massive differences but I don't have any complaints. I think the only people who can really complain are those who play this on PC or switch to PC from console. I would definitley switch to console 100% IF I didn't have to get everything I've worked for all over again. If I didn't have to do the grind to unlock all the perks and the Prestige for characters again I would switch because damn, them graphics noice.

They should, but they don't. They think that you need to spend 3x as much on a computer that has hardware equivalent to a console's, and twice as often as you'd buy a new console. Try to tell them the truth, that you only really need to upgrade one part every 5 years or so (barring any malfunctions, obviously), and they won't believe you.

I own a PS4 Slim and ever since the last patch the frames have been stable and perfect on Autohaven, Macmillan, and Coldwind Maps. Maps such as; Mothers Dwelling and Ormand Resort the frames are dropping due the snow and rain effects added. Let’s hope to see improvements with their ambition of optimisation in spring.

I concur. Its mind blowing how ignorant console peasants can be. I built my computer in late 2016. Mid range hardware. 15 6600, RX 480, 16GB of RAM and over 2 years later it is still going strong. Plays everything i throw at it perfectly. If you build it yourself a 700 - 800 dollar computer can last years before needing a hardware upgrade.

I have an old computer that can run the game, but not by much. As such, my PS4 actually looks and runs the game better.

My computer is a 7 year old frame with pieces grafted onto it over the years to keep it alive, and marginally able to keep up with the games I play on the PC: Guild Wars 2 and DBD.

Eventually I'm going to have to replace it. Not looking forward to spending the cash, but I'm gonna have to I guess.

You should consider taking the time to learn how to build it yourself. Save quite a bit of money. Although the upfront cost of a good PC is higher than console you will get a good return on your investment via the money you will save over the course of the PCs life.

Indeed. The oldest piece mine has is the motherboard, which is some 6-7 years old, and while it is going to need a replacement eventually due to advancements in hardware, it's still in perfect working condition. The latest piece I upgraded was my GPU, and even that was only because I wanted to. The previous one, which I still have, works fine, even after 5 years - it's just not as powerful. The CPU I have is also 6 years old, perfect working condition.
Computers are cheaper if you build them yourself, and more powerful. Propaganda, however, has consumers buying inferior hardware for higher prices, and so we're all getting screwed in the process with inferior ports and games being made with inferior hardware in mind.

Oh I know, I built most of my computers. I bought this one whole because I had some money burning my pocket and I was feeling lazy. As it is, I've been upgrading manually.

Its been awhile since I built a computer, over 7 years, but I can't imagine it's changed so drastically I couldn't figure it out. My concern is that I haven't kept up with hardware and am going to have to go learn the key ingredients in terms of "top of the line." (I don't buy top of the line, I usually aim a couple steps down, because most of my games aren't so demanding they need top of the line, but it's a nice ceiling to work your way down from.)

I haven't played in a while to be honest. I'll play during the next event but I haven't been playing during my downtime. Hopefully someone at BHVR is brushing up on their programming, console has more than enough power to run this at 60fps it just needs someone who can bring the game to normal standards.

My first rebuild from scratch was piece-by-piece, until I got everything to put it together (took 4-5 months on the wage I was making back then when balanced against bills and other interests). You just have to decide on what you want to do.

Also, make sure everything you decide on is compatible, and take into consideration whether or not your hardware is compatible with components going forward. (My last setup was a LGA 1150 socket, so I was doomed to upgrade my motherboard in order to get a better CPU from my 4690k, since there was only a single better CPU than it, and to upgrade to DDR4 RAM. I also had to cut my old case with tin snips to fit a GTX 970, and bought a newer gaming case to accommodate larger GPUs and rein in cable management for the future.)

Maybe it's just me, but on the rare occasions when I say "console peasant", I mean the kind that will pretend consoles have better hardware than PC and spread lies and propaganda about how "expensive" PC gaming is.

@Orion pretty much summed it up. Not every console player is a peasant. A console peasant is someone who refuses to acknowledge the objective superiority of the PC platform and attempts to propagate lies surrounding PC Gaming because they are ignorant or refuse to listen to facts when challenged on the topic.

And a PC elitist is someone that actually thinks consoles can't run a game as good as their masterfully built PC. Newsflash, consoles can run most games on the highest settings just fine. Like I said earlier, I can play Gears 4 in 4k 60 FPS on my Xbox One X (though I don't own a 4k TV, it can run it). The problem is, particularly with games like DBD, is that the devs don't put in the time to actually optimize the game for console platforms. My X could easily run DBD on the absolute highest settings at like 120 FPS, but if BHVR locks the frame rate and builds the game to just function on the console then it doesn't matter what my console is able to do and the game plays worse than on PC.

Hell, if you look at first party Nintendo games they look amazing and run great. Because those games are built for those platforms. But then throw a port onto it and it will look/run like crap because the developers of the game didn't build the game on that platform, and put in just enough effort for it to run at the bare minimum.

I won't deny that a PC can potentially be more powerful than a console. But you need to realize that just because a game runs/looks bad on console is not EXPLICITLY because of the console's ability to run the game. It's because the game wasn't built or optimized for that platform.

I won't deny that a PC can potentially be more powerful than a console.** But you need to realize that just because a game runs/looks bad on console is not EXPLICITLY because of the console's ability to run the game. It's because the game wasn't built or optimized for that platform.**

I remember when Dark Souls 2 came out. It had stable FPS like the PC version, but the game had to look like utter dogsh*t to do it. It was such a drastic difference in graphical fidelity it looked like an entirely different game in certain parts.

They are working on it but recently they made it look and run way better if it’s still bad for you then you probably have ######### internet or a ######### console
Nice, attacking them on speculation and bias.

Also, not all consoles are the same. If bogged down with data, corrupted files, possible hardware issues, or any number of other things, the performance could be affected. Regardless of WHICH console.

Last, you dont have to be braindead to enjoy legion, you just have no not be an elitist "every killer has to be tier 1" prick. ;)

Ah, the console vs pc war has begun again.

Performance wise, PC is better hands done. I went to console because of costs. Before Orion and others jump on me, its not because PC gaming itself is more expensive. Its because I like new toys and upgrades. I ended up spending far too much when I was gaming on PC by always wanting the new shiny gfx card, sound card or motherboard. I was my own worse enemy. So switching to console kept me from going insane on upgrades. If you can control yourself and not need the latest and greatest, pc gaming nowadays is not that expensive.
