SWF Lobbies

Why is it that when I play survivor I get the worst teammates imaginable but when I play killer, I get the strongest 4 man swf lobbies? Where is the logic behind that… I‘m killer rank ash 1 and survivor rank iri 1……. Literally played 3 games and faced 3 coordinated teams with unbreakable,ds,borrowed time and dead hard…so much fun right 🙂 I don‘t know what the devs are smoking but ######### nerf swf lobbies or else I hope your game just dies…..Don‘t want to face swf all day long. You should do 1 swf and then a solo game ffs….

The matchmaking system doesn't work. At all.

I know mate :) The matchmaking system is completely broken…I just played killer to get the halloween cosmetic. Now I‘m back to survivor…But solo is pain too only swf is fun…

If your kill rate is higher than 50% which even ape can get, u get better survivors. More u kill, faster u get better survivors.

As for solo it depends on how bad u are. While some survivors complain their teammates are bad, others say they have around 70-80% escape rate.

escape rate doesn‘t mean being good 😭😭 I don‘t want to get matched with people who escape and do absolutely nothing for the team….This Mmr ######### sucks dude…

Your definition of good is wrong if u don't escape. That's how the game works. If you are great looper u most likely escape a lot, if u are efficient u most likely escape a lot.

Genuine question. Are you sure you're facing the GodSquad SWFs and getting nothing but the worst, or could it be you? Like if it's every single game this late into MMR then it's pretty doubtful you're getting the Tournament Sweat Squads™ every day.

U don't need tournament level team to gen rush. Only requirement for good swf is to be efficient.

Let's say it takes u 10sec to find someone, u down him after 40sec chase, u hook him in 10 sec. It's almost 3 gens for a single down.

Buts let's be real, most of the time u don't find someone so fast and spend some time for hide and seek play while survivors track u and move accordingly. It's 3 gen on 1st down.

And if they take toolboxes or/and speed perks u can half the time survivors need.

My fastest gen was repaired in 15 sec. Fastest game i saw players made was around 3 min mark. Killer just went afk after 4 gen pop in 2+ min.

But if you face those teams constantly this late into MMR and keep losing you will stop facing them. From my own experience, I went from facing constant tournament squads (I checked steam profiles, and a lot of them were the same people) to being able to get very consistent 3ks-4ks again within... About a month.

There are days when it seems to work just fine. The occasional head-scratcher of a match-up here and there, but mostly good games.

Sometimes though, you'll get awful, bizarre match-ups game after game. I think that BHVR sometimes disables the thing. Usually, if you suddenly have instant queues for multiple games in a row, it's a signal to take a break.

The more survivors experience Camping and Tunneling, expect to see DS/UB/BT in their arsenal. It has nothing to do with SWF and everything to do with people being tired of bringing chill builds only to have to deal with those two playstyles.

Because there is no guarantee what type of killer let alone type of playstyle is going to take place. Unlike DS (A perk which is easily avoidable via not camping) You can’t really avoid being the player who has to play sacrificial lamb for the day while the others snooze holding M1.

    Yep.

Thing is - this is sort of how you have to play as killer now, unless you want to be teabagged and flicked all the way to the gate by the crazy SWF you got matched up against.

Right now, you have to go in sweaty. If it turns out that you are dominating, then you can ease up. Starting chill right now is just not a good idea.

Because SWF has caused so much trouble to balancing this game, very few people have tolerance to play killer. And since there is a deficit of killers, survivors have extra-long queue times. And extra-long queue times discourage survivors from continuing to play. So basically all you end up with is noobs or SWF groups (and some super-sweaty killers of course). To truly balance teams based on skill, you would reduce the pool of queueable survivors. The extremes on the low end would get tortured by those super-sweaty killers, discouraging play. If you try to select killers based on skill, new survivors would probably never queue because you have to be dedicated to be a killer main (due to the frustration caused by SWF groups). Not fixing the SWF problem is going to kill this game.

Not to mention, multiple times a night, I have to restart the entire game because a survivor party member is still showing in a match when they clearly aren't. For a purely multi-player game, you'd figure they'd get queueing and lobbying right, but I guess not.
