How to fix rpd.
I brought an qnniversary cake on plague to let the survivors have some bloodpoints while I get my daily. I brought the cake , they all brought escape cakes, guess what the Kate brought?
An rpd offering.
I could not get the kate to a hook because she had boil over , and I couldn't get a surv to a hook anyway, so I disconnected and took my ritual. (You can do that, killers! If you have something BS like this with a ritual, go ahead and disconnect.)
Rpd doors need to be wider, rooms need to be longer, the room with the long wall loop needs to be long enough to replace the wall holding the pallet with another short set of computer desks to let the killer go around instead of all the way around, and the rooms need to be bigger. Another great fix would be that the rpd offering only grants a 25 percent chance so all 4 survivors have to run it for a chance if the killer brings a map offering.

Divide the map into 2. West wing and east wind, reduce some of the God Pallets and infinites and the map would be fine imo. Also DC, cringe

I wouldn't have dced but I could not do anything. It was the start and I couldn't get survivors to a hook twice just enought to make too many mistakes to win. I handed them their already earned win

I agree and they should add those changes you mentioned.
Also, just a question: How were you not able to hook anyone? I despise this map because it's just a big maze, but even if the hooks spawns are terrible I always managed to atleast barely hook someone. Were they very altruistic or something?

It was not possible to hook. Another reason I dced is because I had something coming up in a few but I decided to dc early to spare myself from a long game

The library should not have a totem and a hook should be added. Having to ignore everything and waste too much time to snuff circle of healing just for it to appear again up there is no fun

It is not possible due to royalties. They payed in order to have the opportunity to insert a certain amount of contents and they are gonna keep those contents thay payed for.
They may rework the RCPD but they are not going to thrash something they payed for.

It is also a cool map - there are a lot of people who actually like it. Some tweaks would be appreciated nevertheless.

i don't think rpd can be salvaged even if it gets divided. there are far too many corners and tight hallways for it to be an ok map, especially the 2nd floor of the east section.

Nono! I think they said layout of the map can't be touched. You can divide the map, you can add hooks, remove totemsc, but the corridors and the rooms and stairs can't be moved because it must stay identical to the police department in the game.

well in that case it just shouldn't be a map. rpd's design does not work well in dead by daylight.

Yes, this is true, but now we have this map and we should accept it or find a way to work around these limitations
