What would Springtraps power be?
Don’t get me wrong fnaf is a dream chapter for me but the only thing I see stopping him from getting in is his power and what it would be?

One thing someone mentioned was an idea of puppets being scattered around the map, and the killer being able to jump between them. That kind of idea could easily be adapted for Afton/Springtrap. Put the various animatronics around the map and allow Afton to hop between them. Kind of like a midway point between Freddy's jump and Demo's tunnelling.

His power would be to kill off half the playerbase.

Clearly the best power here

Here we go again..

I’d like a killer who focuses on info but he’d probably be another anti loop killer sadly

I saw this and loved everything about it, but I don't completely understand the power. He can kinda "cloak" and then has a Shred-esque attack that insta-downs? That was my takeaway but an actual explanation would be greatly appreciated :D

There is a LOT of potential, really.
I think it should involve jumpscares and the Phantom Animatronics from FNAF 3, though I do not know how exactly it would work.

Well, if he released now, he'd be a Killer that's coming out after 2019, so... a 115 zoning Killer with no mobility, clearly.

I'd like Springtrap to be this:
A mobility Killer, able to disrupt Survivors with the help of his Phantoms

"I always come back"
No matter what anyone tries, survivors cannot ever escape your curse.
The exit gates do not spawn.

I like this power is just death.

Just like my soul when he appears in games despite no good narrative reason to.

I made an entire concept of spring trap of how he would work. I would make the phantoms trap based like Freddy and Hag. You can switch between 6 phantoms by pressing the button(same as switching between clowns bottles). Each phantom works on a specific location. Phantom BB works on gens, Phantom Foxy works on pallets. Chica on Totems. Freddy on windows, puppet on chests and Mangle on Lockers.

Why you gotta do the old man like that

I absolutely love the idea of giving him a fire axe. It fits his character a lot.
As for his power, there's a lot to choose from. Phantom animatronics, a tracking ability (which would make a lot of sense if you consider the FNAF games), a maintenance panel required for survivors to use in order for the map to stop getting dark overtime as well as giving survivors Blindness (although that might be a ripoff of Pinhead's power).
I really liked Rarithlynx's FNAF chapter spotlight concept as well.

I know, I just thought it'd be funny

Is Springtrap the one that scared you most?

Scared me how they can keep shoehorning him into the narrative

I said this in a previous topic and, I'm not sure if it's any good or not but, I'll post it again here and I guess I'll just see what others think.
I'm honestly not very creative when it comes to power ideas but, I'll throw some ideas. There are three main aspects that I think they'd combine. They'd probably have security cams set up to be able to monitor what's going on around the maps, they'd probably also have other AI animatronics that might have something akin to how Pinhead's teleport works with the little red arrow but, instead of teleporting, that's how you activate a specific animatronic to patrol a area. The final piece is a toss up between two ideas that still relate to each other, the springlock suits. They'd either be a simple teleport option for you or they could work as a combination of Pig and Pyramid Head's cages, they'd be something you put the survivors into and then another survivor would have to save you as the survivor in the springlock suit does a little minigame to, well, survive.
If they want to go REALLY nutty and do something 100% unique with this, they could do something I like to call "Until the Clock Chimes" turning a standard match that would be filled with gens into a game of survival until the survivors reach a certain time and which the gates can be open. As cool as I personally think this sounds, it would probably be easily abusable because, let's be real, people would locker hop and hide in corners the entire time. That's the beauty of this possible DLC in my opinion, they could get super creative if they wanted too. Like I said though, coming up with power ideas is NOT my strong suit but hey, I gave it a shake! xD
And, @GoodBoyKaru while I somewhat disagree with you about the whole "shoehorning" aspect, there is one thing I do agree on, as much as I do thoroughly enjoy all of William's backstory and his design interpretations throughout the years(especially the original Springtrap and SB's "Burntrap".... we don't talk about Scraptrap though) I do have to agree on one thing, it is time to finally move away from William always being the big main villain, at least, for awhile.

I wouldn't complain about BurnTrap if he had any mention earlier in the game. Unfortunately this isn't the case

His power would be ranting on the forums about their precious game getting tainted and how no one cares for about 9 paragraphs.

Well, to be 100% upfront and honest, I have not fully played the game yet but, of course, the internet being the internet, I DID get spoiled on what the final boss was and looks like(BurnTrap, obviously) but, I'm going to assume that they do hint/allowed to him in some of the secret recordings(which, I know they're in the game but I have NOT listened to them because I want to find them myself) that said though, even if they do, that shouldn't be the way to hint at the final boss. That said though, that part really doesn't matter much to me(I WAS however, very pissed at first), still looking forward to playing more of it because, again, just being honest, I 100% expected William to be in the game in some way, shape or form.

Spoiler: the tapes don't. There was nothing about him except a few throwaway lines in the lead up to his fight

Mmm, well, that's a bit of a disappointment but, whatever, again, I expected him to be in there as the "big bad". It personally doesn't really bother me all too much. I can however see why it would bother some though.

Heh, makes sense.

Probably a power that has nothing to do with Springtrap and just with FNAF as a franchise since he doesn't do #########. He'd be in a Nemesis situation where he has nothing to do with his own character except Nemesis actually did at least do things in his own games.

I mean, there are many mentions of something underneath the Pizza Plex sucking up all the power. Plus, we knew from Help Wanted that Afton wasn't dead.
Despite that, I still think his introduction could have been done better, and that he should have gotten more screen time (as well Monty, since he's barely in the game compared to the others).
It's really a shame how rushed Security Breach was. Looking at the trailers, it looked like a different game. I really hope they go back and fix the bugs as well as add back a lot of the stuff that was cut.

Looked like a different game because it was a different game- listen to the voice lines from that trailer and see if they show up anywhere in the game

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. Feelsbadman.

Increasing profits for a transphobic creator?

Sounds like mine. It was called "The Creation From Mutilation".
Personally think a similar power would suit the FNAF chapter really well. Probably would need a better secondary ability than what I had (something a bit more fun) but I'd like to see multiple animatronics on the map.
