"comp" players
Literally sweating in a party game where most people mess around and troll. It's like some 30 yo graduated in math walking into a supermarket and screaming that he knows how to calculate better than everyone else. Nobody is going to care.
Good job champ, you spent your life on Dbd only proving that you can beat casual players in a game that doesn't even have a functioning ranking system or requires any aim or reaction skills! Like who is even deciding that you are good or bad? Lmao
These """comp""" players are too insecure to test their skills in an actual competitive game so they decide to sit in a casual game and destroy casual players.
This is the reason you, yes you that are reading are probably not enjoy Dbd anymore. It's not the "killer mains" or "survivor mains" that are leaving this game, but the people that actually bought it to have some fun and take it casually

You do realize that every comp game is done in a KYF, right? It's not just loading into pubs and stomping random killers, it's a set up match between two teams with a set of rules.

I think you need some self evaluation buddy. You decided to log onto the DBD forums, make a rant post insulting players who like to tryhard and then call them insecure. Look in the mirror pal. It aint that serious.

You ok?
Seriously though, it's mostly players who got bored of regular matches and wanted more of a challenge, enjoy playing optimally, or enjoy competing. The matches are more balanced than regular DbD because there are rules. There are probably fewer than 500 actively competing competitive players. It has zero effect on public matches of DbD.
As a side note: no legitimate comp team is queuing up for a public match and taking it seriously. It's not good practice. They'd find a comp killer to play against in KYF for that. You are not running into anything resembling comp level game speed in a public match. Most of what people perceive as "comp" is players actually touching generators with regularity.

What's the problem here? Did you run into comp players? Because if you did, you had to have been sweating as hard as they were to get that level, and you seem to be hardcore criticizing sweaty players.

Something tells me OP got wrecked, decided 'They must have been comp to beat ME!' and decided to rage against comp players. 🙃

It sounds more like you're upset with (a) an SWF being toxic or (b) MMR placing you against a team you shouldn't be facing. It's frustrating but, unfortunately, BHVR doesn't care about toxicity driving away players unless it's a comment in end game chat.

You do realize all these """comp""" players mostly stomp randoms and then go do their little tournaments right? How do you think they reach rank 1 every season and have 10k hours each?

It sounds like you really don't understand how the scene even works. There are a few discords for teams to find scrims. It's a complete waste of a team's time to practice in a public match setting for multiple reasons. Comp teams aren't queuing up for regular matches and playing like a SWAT team. You might perceive it that way, and that's matchmaking's fault more than theirs.

It's frustrating when someone rages on the forum, and literally, the first sentence of their post is wrong, and everyone else knows that correcting them will yield no value but tries anyway.

The people who seethe the most about comp tend to understand it the least. But I still try to explain it, however pointless it may be at times.

Sounds like skill issue.

I long for the day where game forums refuse to engage the trolls and the belligerents that crowd out healthy dialogue about the game.

Someone had a bad game

I'm not perceiving anything when they literally have their team name in their bio and they call themselves "comp", streaming with stretched resolution and sweating their balls off.
Also why do you think i'm talking about survivors? Both roles have sweaty stretched resolution tryhards that literally only main 1 character or the same perks

Most comp players I've seen in pubs just play like regular, but are nuts at the game. They're usually solo too lol. By the the looks of things, you got rolled by a good team and came to the forums to cry about it. Just move on to the next match instead of making a fool of yourself, you're not meant to win every game.

But boredom + funny posts = neurons go brrr

By the looks of it, you think i'm killer mains because i'm complaining. I do play both sides and find sweaty tryharding in both sides. This is not referring to only 1 role
